I gave a hint on how one can approach the proof, but you are welcome to share other ideas. Have fun! ❤️

It might be only a special case of a more general theorem by Besicovitch, but it’s not easy to do! Have fun! 🔥 Found in „Mathematical Problems and Puzzles” by S. Straszewicz.

It goes to show how out of touch most people are when they think solving pure math conjectures has the same purpose as finding cures to diseases I think it’s safe to say these people live in a different planet of their own delusion
25 Fields Medalists are worried AI solving math too fast could damage mathematics. I see the opposite happening in coding. Imagine scientists delaying a cancer cure by 100 years just so they can experience discovering it themselves. It would be a disaster for humanity.

Solved this one and generalized a few weeks ago with my younger brother. A lot of fun!

It’s a short one… or maybe not? Who knows. Me? Perhaps. You? When you solve it. So… go ahead! And solve it! … did you solve it? P.S. Mathinity Sunday Challenge is officially back!

Major update on elliptic curve rank records! Rank 30 has been found by mysterious ranksunbounded user! Lower bound is unconditional - 30 explicit linearly independent points. Upper bound 30 proved under GRH assumption via Bober's method. What an epic news and congratulations to the record owner!
Here is another awesome challenge for your brain and AI. Find an elliptic curve with at least 30 independent points. Notice that the rank records have been increasing since the 1930s. But recently we see the law of diminishing returns. The problem is so hard that the record curve is way past its inflection point (1988). Or it seems so. So stop looking for crazy conjectures, find a higher rank or show it's impossible. Real math fame involved!

√7 is missing from this viral double cube, and… it’s not a coincidence. But it took over 2000 years to find the real reason why √7 and many other numbers are missing. Full story on my YouTube channel.

I’ve pulled a few all-nighters just to make it happen. And it was totally worth it. „√7 is missing – and it took 2000 years to find the real reason why” is LIVE ON YOUTUBE. Enjoy! Link in a reply!

Cool non alternating series to calculate, what else would you like to do on this beautiful Sunday evening? Have fun! 👑

More floor = more fun 🧠 The original problem contained less floor and that was awful. I fixed it. And made it harder. Your welcome 😈

No but seriously, didn’t know this series would be so fun to evaluate. Have a nice Sunday!

After 250 years of silence, Euler finally shared a sequel to the famous Euler’s Identity 💀 Well… that’s obviously a joke, because Euler wasn’t silent for the past 250 years, but only 243. Oh, the identity? Yeah, this part it true actually, check it out for yourself!
