Maybe I'm naive but I just think the fact that the Doctor is (possibly) the only character on TV who can now be played by literally anyone (of any race/gender) is a beautiful thing that should be celebrated.

The problem with AI Doctor Who is that people with no creative experience can now create virtually what they like without having to answer to anyone. As soon as their product receives criticism, they can't handle it because no-one ever given any sort of feedback to them.

When a voice actor does an IMPRESSION of a character that another actor has played, they are doing their take on the character, their impression of the CHARACTER and are doing it respectfully. AI creates an uncanny puppet of the ACTOR and uses their likeness in a horrific way
