Around $7.65–7.66 million if Mississippi State fires him without cause as of Dec. 1, 2026 (75% of remaining salary on his dual university/Bulldog Club deals through 2028). Salary sits at about $4.5M this year. He has a duty to mitigate, so any new job would offset the total.

Sources: Mississippi State star QB Kamario Taylor will miss the rest of the season, as he faces surgery on his injured toe. Taylor has an appointment today to get his toe checked out by a specialist and could have surgery as early as tomorrow. He’s expected to make a full recovery.
