Does anyone else remember Sunset Beach, aired on Channel 5 late 1990s?
I bloody loved that show so much, it was so awful that it was brilliant. 🤩

Elina Svitolina and Gael Monfils are ending their marriage 💔
Elina shared this message on IG:
“This is the most difficult thing I have ever had to share.
Everyone knows how much Ukraine means to me. What I have rarely spoken about is what the war has done to me inside.
Last year, I told you I needed to step away from the court because I wasn't in the right emotional space. Today, I want to open up a little more. What you didn't see were the sleepless nights, the doubts, and the feeling of slowly losing myself.
Gaël saw all of it. He never let go of my hand. We fought through this together for a long time, with everything we had.
But some battles happen deep inside you, and no amount of love from someone else can win them for you.
With time, I came to understand that I need to find my way back to myself and that I cannot do that within our marriage. It is the hardest truth I have ever had to face and the hardest thing I have ever had to tell the person I love. Gaël listened. He has respected what I need with a strength and grace I will never forget.
Gael has loved me through my greatest joys and my darkest moments, and I have loved him with all my heart. Together, we built a beautiful life, and we were given the most precious gift of all, our daughter, Skai.
Skai will always come first. Our marriage is ending, but our family is not. We will always be her parents, side by side, at every step of her life.
Please know that there is no one to blame here. There are only two people who loved each other deeply and a story that is changing shape.
We ask for your kindness and for the space we need to heal.
Thank you for your love 🤍”

AZANIA MOSAKA: THE VOICE THAT SHAPED AN ERA.
From growing up in Pimville to making broadcasting history as the first woman to host a commercial radio breakfast show in South Africa, Azania Mosaka built a two-decade career on depth, poise, and composure. But at the peak of her radio dominance, she made the ultimate act of bravery: she put down the microphone and walked away to grow.
What followed was an expansion, from working at the United Nations in Geneva to returning to Wits for her Honours degree, with her sights now firmly set on a PhD.
For our latest cover issue, we took things back home to Soweto: shooting across Pimville, local salons, and neighboring schools. We sat Azania down with fellow icon Penny Lebyane for an unedited, deeply moving masterclass in Black sisterhood, integrity, and reclaiming one's narrative. Read full cover story now!

Usher was thrust into the spotlight at 14, with his début single, “Call Me a Mack.” Chris Brown catapulted to fame more than a decade later, breaking out, at 15, with “Run It!” Four years later, he was arrested for the assault and battery of his then girlfriend, Rihanna. “You wonder about them, Usher and Chris Brown. Each man now appears, in his own way, timeworn,” Doreen St. Félix writes about the R. & B. singers, now 47 and 37, respectively, and on tour together. Why have they paired up—and why now? Read about St Félix’s experience at “The R&B Tour,” which brought simulated sex, flying stunt work, and nearly 60 truncated songs to stadiums across the country: newyorker.com/culture/pop-mu…

This is so sad.
Cassandra Barksdale was told she had aggressive cancer. She told her kids she had five years to live. She had a full hysterectomy. Then she found out the tissue sample wasn't even hers. That is a catastrophic failure. She lost her uterus, her peace of mind, and months of her life to a preventable mistake. That is not acceptable!
