Stipulated: If Trump is impeached by the new Senate, Republicans will contrive to impeach a Democratic president next time they have the chance.
So…should the incoming Democratic Senate impeach Trump and remove him from office? Or leave him there as the lamest duck in history?
If anybody is interested, and hasn't seen it yet…Here's Top Gear's talk with the Tesla Roadster engineers, filmed prior to the demo the other day).

So, flying cars: Whether rocket- or fan-propelled, or whatever, any chance of wide adoption in the next several decades?
I'll go first: No.

Be wary of polls in Texas that have Talarico ahead. As with donald trump, Rick Scott and Ted Cruz, Ken Paxton is the type of candidate people won’t admit they’re voting for. Having said that, I believe Talarico still has a chance to win.
Every year it takes me a day or two to remember what the Earth, Wind and Fire posts are all about.
(Better: "Do you remember the kind of September, when life was slow and oh, so mellow?")

The University of Waterloo Rocketry Team launched Polaris, a student-built liquid bi-propellant rocket, to an incredible altitude of 63,497 feet - about 19.35 km above Earth.
The flight broke the previous world record of 56,590 feet, making Polaris the highest-flying amateur liquid rocket ever launched.
The 17-foot rocket was designed and built by students and successfully recovered after its record-breaking flight.

So much for The Gilded Age being a shameful period of US history where the great disparity between the wealthiest and everyone else was extreme. At least the Rockefellers & Carnegies of that time invested some of their opulent wealth on things that benefitted those below them.

Based on what's happened with Mitch McConnell in limbo for months…what do you expect will happen when Trump kicks it?
I've never seen or heard of this. The smaller, child instrument can be played separately OR "ganged" with the main keyboard to play both at once from the main keyboard. (If this is confusing, just watch.)
This is a Ruckers mother-and-child virginal—a 17th-century keyboard instrument with a second, smaller instrument built into it, tuned an octave higher. The “child” could be pulled out to play duets or set on top of the “mother” to add a jangly, buzzing color to the main sound—a Renaissance-era layering trick, centuries before mixing desks. Antwerp instrument makers were doing this in the 1600s.
