Focusing in our North Tryon Division this past weekend, our Queen City Safe initiative successfully removed illegally possessed firearms, curtailed open‑air narcotics activity, and addressed individuals contributing to violent crime. Partnered with the ALE, Mecklenburg County ABC, the DJJ and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, our officers and specialized units concentrated on targeted areas identified through crime data and community feedback as having a significant impact on public safety and quality of life.
Through proactive strategies and outstanding interagency collaboration, we achieved a meaningful disruption of criminal activity. We remain firmly committed to leveraging every partnership and strategy available to keep our city safe.
