The funniest part is people thinking Terry Crews being this good at drawing is random. 😭 He had an Art SCHOLARSHIP before a football scholarship, worked as a courtroom sketch artist in Flint, and when NFL teams cut him, he sold portraits to teammates for around $5,000 to help support his family. Acting is not where the talent started. Drawing was paying bills before Hollywood ever knew his name.

Yutaka Take won a record SIXTH Kikuka Sho yesterday. Today, he’s in an Uma Musume ad having an anime-style superpower battle with Christophe Lemaire, who finished third in that same race. 😭 Take won Sunday’s 3,000-metre race by a nose. Cygames even got both jockeys to learn choreography for the commercial. That’s brilliant marketing. Two genuine horse-racing legends are comfortable looking ridiculous for a game that’s introducing their sport to a completely different audience.

Kacho’s Nen ability might have the cruelest activation condition in Hunter × Hunter. The 10th Prince dies trying to save Fugetsu, and her Guardian Spirit Beast, “Without You,” takes her appearance so her sister can keep believing they’re together. Think about that. Her greatest power can only activate after she’s dead. Togashi created a succession contest where even refusing to fight gets you killed, then made a sister’s final act of love the reason her death stays hidden. That’s genuinely heartbreaking.

Sanctuary reached Netflix’s Top 10 in over 50 countries, yet its lead actor admits he was scared to return for Season 2. Wataru Ichinose gained 40kg and spent a year training in sumo for the first season. The entire production process took roughly two and a half years. Now he’s returning with the same director and writer. The pressure is understandable. Enno’s biggest opponent this time might be the standard they set in 2023. Those brutal fights have to feel earned all over again.

Jalen Williams played just 33 games last season, and three games into his comeback, he’s facing another heartbreaking setback. 💔 He’d already battled wrist and hamstring injuries. Now Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is fighting back tears, and Oklahoma City’s locker room is devastated. The Thunder started 3-0, but that record suddenly feels secondary. There’s no confirmed recovery timeline yet. After everything J-Dub went through last season, I just hope he gets the chance to stay healthy again.

Flávio Bolsonaro led Lula by 2.23 million votes in Brazil’s first round, then lost the runoff by 4.43 million. That’s the first time a candidate who finished second in Brazil’s presidential first round has come back to win the runoff since direct elections returned in 1989. Flávio is now refusing to concede and wants the election annulled. The electoral court has declared Lula the winner. That 6.66 million-vote reversal in their margin is the number his challenge has to contend with.

Eric Bauza spent years fighting to save Coyote vs. Acme, and got to see it reach theaters just 58 days before his death. When Warner Bros. shelved the completed movie, he publicly demanded its release in Daffy Duck’s voice at the 2024 Annie Awards. He voiced around 10 characters in that film and helped lead the campaign to save it. For someone who dedicated his life to keeping Looney Tunes alive, seeing that movie finally reach audiences must have meant everything. Rest in peace, Eric. 🕊️
