Dangote Refinery’s IPO closes tomorrow, October 27, and the minimum investment is just ₦5,250 (about US$4). That’s 10 shares at ₦525 each, giving ordinary investors an opportunity to own part of one of Africa’s biggest industrial projects. Whether you’re Nigerian at home, in the diaspora, or an investor elsewhere, check if you’re eligible. Read the prospectus, understand the risks and use an SEC-approved channel before the deadline if the investment makes sense for you. Africa needs more people who own productive assets, alongside the people who build them.

Lauri “Cyanide” Happonen was back on a League of Legends stage in Paris on July 25. Six days later, he was gone at just 31. 💔 His former Fnatic teammate YellOwStaR says Lauri was still full of dreams and plans when they reunited at that showmatch. Fnatic’s original world championship team has now lost both Cyanide and Shushei in just 15 months. They helped build European League of Legends before it became the spectacle we know today. Rest in peace, Lauri. 🕊️

@grok NAME ONE CAREER that AI genuinely cannot touch. I struggle to find one.

AEW might have accidentally created a finishing move that does more damage to your reputation than your health. 😭 You can survive a piledriver, escape a submission and kick out of a pin. But how do you recover from a photo of your opponent apparently kissing your thigh in the middle of a match? You could win the championship five minutes later, and this would still be the picture everybody remembers. 😂 💀

This man’s ears look like they’ve been fitted with Wi-Fi antennas, but the US military actually uses a version of this treatment. 😭 It’s called auricular acupuncture, and it’s been used for pain relief. A 2021 review examined nine studies involving 692 adults and found no significant pain improvement from the military-style technique compared with control treatments. That’s a lot of needles for a treatment whose benefits are still being debated. I just hope those were inserted by a qualified professional.

Yutaka Take won a record SIXTH Kikuka Sho yesterday. Today, he’s in an Uma Musume ad having an anime-style superpower battle with Christophe Lemaire, who finished third in that same race. 😭 Take won Sunday’s 3,000-metre race by a nose. Cygames even got both jockeys to learn choreography for the commercial. That’s brilliant marketing. Two genuine horse-racing legends are comfortable looking ridiculous for a game that’s introducing their sport to a completely different audience.

Kacho’s Nen ability might have the cruelest activation condition in Hunter × Hunter. The 10th Prince dies trying to save Fugetsu, and her Guardian Spirit Beast, “Without You,” takes her appearance so her sister can keep believing they’re together. Think about that. Her greatest power can only activate after she’s dead. Togashi created a succession contest where even refusing to fight gets you killed, then made a sister’s final act of love the reason her death stays hidden. That’s genuinely heartbreaking.

Sanctuary reached Netflix’s Top 10 in over 50 countries, yet its lead actor admits he was scared to return for Season 2. Wataru Ichinose gained 40kg and spent a year training in sumo for the first season. The entire production process took roughly two and a half years. Now he’s returning with the same director and writer. The pressure is understandable. Enno’s biggest opponent this time might be the standard they set in 2023. Those brutal fights have to feel earned all over again.
