Well played @LidlGB, whose new catalogue for their own wooden toy brand #Playtive features girls with cars, boys with dolls houses and doing ironing, and both having tea together.
And all unisex clothes. No pink and blue anywhere. It’s the future @LetToysBeToys @letclothesbe

Dear @NickGibbUK
We're disappointed to hear @educationgovuk has withdrawn bursaries for music teacher trainees from 2021-22 academic year. Opportunities to teach and access #MusicEducation should be at the heart of our schools curriculum & gov policy.

Following yesterday's very impressive protest by @WeAreTheMU in Parliament Square I have written to the Chancellor demanding fairness in the Government's treatment of musicians and other freelancers in the creative industries suffering due to Covid-19 #letmusiclive #WeMakeEvents

Today we started our campaign outside Parliament to ask for targeted investment.
Arts sector makes £10.8bn, events makes £84bn. For every £1 spent on us, £2 is spent on wider economy. Yet 87% of musicians are facing hardship, 1/3 are #excludeduk from support.

This is what musicians can achieve in just a week of organising on our own. Safe, structured, socially distanced performance of 400 people. What else can we achieve if given the chance. Dear @RishiSunak @OliverDowden we are viable! #letmusiclive #wemakeevents

You’d be hard pressed to find someone more skilled or more viable than a pro musician. You’d also be hard pressed to find a non-musician who fully understands the skill and viability inherent in a pro musician. There’s a reason our world is filled with music, and it isn’t magic.

Hi #RishiSunak. I've been thinking about what makes a viable business. Here's a little story for you.
Barbara is a clarinettist. After 20 yrs' training & highly competitive auditions, she won a job in a prestigious London orchestra. As well as playing at the Royal Albert Hall 1/

Welcome to Britain, a country where the use of home heating systems is not determined by indoor temperature, but by calendar month and a matter of principle.

We try really hard to keep gender stereotypes at a minimum and gender-based assumptions about our boys make me quite cross. Its lovely to see our approach apparently working when they play "girly" games.
