I am thrilled to have been appointed as Parliamentary Private Secretary to the First Secretary of State, Louise Haigh. I'm looking forward to supporting her in the Cabinet Office and working with my wonderful colleagues @alangemmell and @BeccyCooper4Lab.

A false statement about funding for #MitchamCommon has been made by @Merton_Council, & repeated across different social media channels during the Local Elections Purdah period after @MertonLabour chose to remove a yearly grant to the @MitchamCommon Conservators. Although the council have admitted fault privately, they have left the false information to be corrected until a later date, presumably not now until Tuesday, after the Bank Holiday.
