I meaaaannnn... Phantom Liberty has flashed out the sympathetic aspect of the Scavs, how they're human (despite being russians) And the way they insured Rinder stayed alive after removing his implants. Could have harvested his organics, instead hired muscle to protect the guy.

Thing is they weren't obligated to keep Rinder alive, he wouldn't been able to do anything at all if they decided to harvest him fully. And even if Jason didn't get his brains splattered across a porch, don't think he had any pressure on scavs to stop em from killing Rinder.

The sheer fact that Rinder and Jason went to SCAVS of all people for help with the implant/cyberpsychosis situation, already tells me alot. There are people who trust scavs as their medical professionals, wouldn't be the case if it really was all ice-baths and blooded cleavers
