I wrote a letter to Lars, standing up for Steve Hammerson, it was as follows:

Think about that logically for even a second and you SHOULD understand that even suggesting that girls need more privacy because boys are in their locker rooms, SHOWS Steve doesn't want the boys in the girls locker rooms!
Why on earth would you jump to the conclusion that doing what they can to help keep the girls safe ASAP means they are pro-trans nonsense??? Did you talk to Steve at all before you made these comments?
Heck, I just did a GROK search asking about the mailer and about Boices comments and even GROK was able to debunk it instantly--didn't you do even that much before slandering Steve on your show???
I'm so disappointed in how you handled this, and the damage you have done to Steve's Campaign. I hope you do more research, talk to Steve Hammerson, and set the record straight on the air. If they broke the law, they would be fined, jailed, and replaced by liberal School Board members who would absolutely continue to allow boys into the locker rooms--nothing would have changed except there would no longer be people in a position of power to help those girls.
So you (Lars) cannot claim that those girls would have been better protected if the school board just thumbed their nose at state law as you so casually suggest. This school board is one of the only ones in the state who is fighting for their girls privacy and safety, and YOU belittle them and criticism them!
What the school board did secured the girls privacy and safety legally, and as quickly as possible. It was a brilliant solution that doesn't just protect the girls (legally), but it completely thwarts the liberal law that allows boys in there, and takes away the boys primary motivation for wanting to BE in the girls locker room in the first place!
Your characterization of this renovation as somehow "accommodating boys in girls locker rooms," is a farce--it's complete nonsense!
These renovations didn't just give the girls back their privacy and safety (legally), but it discourages the behavior by taking away the boys motivation for being there, something that even changing the law back would NOT accomplish!
Your wording of your question to Steve Hammerson is a classic logical fallacy called "Loaded Question."
You know exactly what this type of question is--dishonest and manipulative. You chose to state the question to include contested (and demonstrably false), characterization of the construction, so that there is no "correct" answer.
Then you attacked him relentlessly to keep him from rephrasing the characterization to something neutral or positive. Then you made a false claim that he refused to answer a "simple question." What he did, was refuse to agree to a Loaded Question, and the lie it was pushing.
Worse than that though, is your complete lack of journalistic integrity. You admitted in the interview, that you had not even read the tiny mail flyer before the interview. That was the whole reason Steve was coming on your show and it was a critically important part of understanding the truth. Which is why Steve responded to you by saying:
"Then you aren't looking for the Truth."
And you weren't. If you were, you would have looked at his side of the story, read the flier, and reported on what you found.
But you didn't need to look at any anything, because you had already made your decision before the interview started. I would call that journalistic malpractice Lars.
Congrats, you have become what you always claimed to despise: the corrupt, bought and paid for, "Dead Fish-Wrapper," media.
