In 2008, I put this on my new website: "DO NOT TAKE BETA-CAROTENE IF YOU ARE A SMOKER!"
Then I filed it away and moved on.
That warning was the tip of a much bigger story: trials stopped early, a dose picked so people wouldn't turn orange, and a WHO "acceptable" intake built on rats.
Episode 1 of the Beta-Carotene Case Files is live!
The thesis is this: there's a solid connection between potassium intake and lack of obesity:

Obviously this doesn't have to be because of the specific nutrient itself, there's always healthy user bias, correlation-not-causation, blah blah blah I get it.
But what if there IS some kind of causal effect? It's worth at least considering. Finding ways to boost potassium and zinc (fruit and meat), IMHO, could drive reduced overall hunger and food consumption once the body's had its fill.
Why not?
Beta-carotene isn't just "vitamin A waiting to happen". BUT that's the main pathway.
Your body splits it into retinaldehyde, then retinol or retinoic acid (Retin-A)... and a little of that becomes 13-cis-retinoic acid. Better known as... ACCUTANE.

Next video up... we talk about the first study that got STOPPED EARLY that NOBODY talks about.......

Look at this thread
Someday in the future people will look back at this timeframe and ask how we ever let anyone prescribe or take such demonic substances
Shit is so bad half the mental health community applauds in shock when a single person can get off of it
Hell to pay for a lot of awful individuals
Driving 3+ hours today to try a new chicken supplier. I think I found the guy who cares as much about his chicken feed as we do our own food.
Bought $500 cash worth. Will report back.
Remember when Klaus Schwab and his kind were talking about the coming "cyber pandemic", and everyone was weary from the coronavirus clotshot psyop and told him to get bent?
Yeah well maybe it's actually coming, or they're going to make it look that way....
since i brushed my teeth this morning:
- Capcom has been hacked, 12 million personal address leaked.
- Major US banks reported unauthorized ai agent activity executing unapproved actions
- leading medical provider Quest Diagnostics has been hacked, personal data leaked.
- multiple foreign governments have shut down crucial national systems due to PHP exploit.
i don’t care what you think - this is unprecedented armageddon spreading at lightning speed with the potential to snowball into a catastrophe.
wtf is going on?

The rate since the rollout of the COVID shots is 7 standard deviations above the baseline rate and is still rising.

The whole "sugar causes fatty liver" argument was a massive misdirection
Omega-6, retinoids, heavy metals, and pesticides all get far more blame
Finishing up my first major long form video. Video editing is brutal but I hope to get it out tomorrow.
It's a background on beta-carotene and what led to the deadly studies on smokers
Follow along and I'll get it up soon

No, AI cannot "cure disease" because most disease is rooted in toxicity, and computers can't stop people from exposing themselves to non-stop heavy metals, pesticides, various endocrine disruptors, and torrential amounts of fat soluble slop
How can AI solve that problem? Is it going to pull the glyphosate out of your sloppy ass corn chips? Is it going to take the nickel out of your jewelry? Is it going to remove the mold from your walls? Is it going to force zinc and potassium and magnesium down your throat?
AI will help you treat symptoms. But you are the one who needs to pull the ripcord on the rubbish
Another way to explain why AI won’t be curing all disease soon is that it doesn’t remove the bottleneck.
No, it’s not that it won’t be smart enough. Hell, it’s smart enough now, let alone in a year or 5 years.
But no matter how smart it is, it just moves the bottleneck downstream.
The perfect virtual cell and virtual tissue and virtual human will generate hypotheses, insanely good hypotheses that we’d never come up with on our own.
Then AI will design the experiments to validate the hypotheses and run them in parallel and that’ll get us incredible drugs.
But once we have the drugs we won’t know if they’re cures until we give them to real, live humans and watch them for the rest of their lives.
So amazing treatments, which we already have, are going to start dropping faster than Millennium Prize problems.
(I actually heard Anthropic is dropping 816 drug candidates the weekend before their IPO, BTW. You heard it here first.)
But the point is that you can check a math proof by reading it.
To check a cure you have to observe lots of humans for their entire lives.
So how long does it take to find out if a treatment is a cure?
An entire human lifespan.
That’s the bottleneck.

Just shoot your shot, younger guys
"Hey I'm heading to this party, wanna be my +1 for the night?"
If yes, cool, if no, then you won't be old and gray and regretful
Ethan Hawke Admits He Wishes He Had Dated Drew Barrymore After Revealing He Used To Hope He’d Run Into Her At Parties In The ’90s
Ethan Hawke: “I don’t think I can remember a time in my life when I was not aware of you.”
Drew Barrymore: “What me and every other girl on the planet wouldn’t have given to date you. Where the hell were you?”
Ethan Hawke: “There were many a night in the ’90s when I’d be going to a party and think, ‘Maybe Drew will be there.’”
Drew Barrymore: “Why didn’t you call me? We still had phones back then!”
Ethan Hawke: “I wanted it to happen organically. I thought something magical would happen.”
Drew Barrymore: “And look what happened: nothing!”
This weekend, I lost a business friend. We weren't super close, but we were close enough to hug, hang out at conventions, and text about baseball.
Man, I don't know what you guys are going through, but if you're in some bad times, reach out to a friend. If you can't find a friend, reach out to me.
Unless you've harmed children, there's no problem that can't be solved. It's never THAT bad. Never let this society defeat you.
Sad day
