My frontal lobe fully developed, and I realized that spending five days a week working a 9 to 5 until I’m 60 just so I can finally “enjoy life” for a few years at the end is one of the worst deals we’ve ever been told to accept.

I'd give anything to hear the screen door slam one more time in the summer of 1978. Mom yelling about the flies, Dad cutting the grass, my whole childhood still ahead of me. Funny how the days we wanted to escape became the ones we'd give anything to relive.
