You have an idea for an animated AI video, but aren’t sure how to create interesting characters.
Here’s a short guide on how you can use Grok Imagine to make your next character.

1. Find your inspiration
Inspiration comes from all sorts of places that Grok can get inspired by: a photo you took, a doodle, an image you found.
Collect these and put them into a new canvas in Grok Imagine.
Here is where you can find your creative canvas space.

2. Brainstorm with your agent
Here’s the prompt that filmmaker @lukeguidici used to start his session to create this animated story.
"you are a specialist agent helping me develop a unique style for a cartoon. I want something flat, minimalist, and vector style. take a look at these four images. I prefer it to be more highly stylized. can you give me a short brief on that style idea?"
One great thing about using Grok is the ability to use “natural language.” You don’t need to use a complicated prompting structure, just talk to it like you would any other member of your team.

3. Refine, refine, refine
Once you are happy with your general style direction, ask Grok for your first character designs.
As you find options you like, you can ask Grok to refine specific details, like elements of the costume, or the overall color scheme.
Continue the process of ideation until you arrive at a design you are happy with.

4. Create a bunch ofo assets
Use your character design as a “source” image for Grok to help you create other characters, props, vehicles, or even a complimentary style for backgrounds.
Pro-Tip: Create a character “turn-around” image that gives you a front, profile, 3/4, and back view of your characters. This will be essential for keeping your character consistent when you start generating videos.

For more than 200 years, presidents and their families have expanded, rebuilt and reimagined America’s most recognizable home. In AP’s new documentary, “A Changing White House,” Clifton Truman Daniels, grandson of former President Harry S. Truman, reflects on one of the most important renovations in White House history, which not only preserved the original stone walls but also added the Truman balcony. "A Changing White House" is available to watch on October 23 on the AP's YouTube channel.
It’s easy to see why New York is a Halloween town. We love dressing up and celebrating under the cover of night, and we’ve got more candy stores per capita than any other major city. If you play it right, your rambles will be sweet and your revelry copious.
Writer Fiorella Valdesolo spoke to local parents and Halloween diehards about their strategies for October 31. Read more: curbed.visitlink.me/A48CpG

The outdoors helps set your sleep cycle. Cells in your eyes need enough light to get your body’s internal clock working right. Early morning sunlight in particular seems to help people get to sleep at night. This may be more important as you age. When you're older, your eyes are less able to absorb light, and you’re more likely to have problems with sleep. wb.md/4eu9LCy

The Department of Homeland Security’s role in elections has, until recently, been limited to technical issues like monitoring cyberattacks and defending critical infrastructure. But in June, Homeland Security Investigations, an arm of ICE, issued a report stating that the Department was working to identify organizations that “may be predatory in nature, particularly those suspected of illegal alien registration and voter encouragement.” While evidence shows that noncitizen voting is virtually nonexistent, H.S.I. leadership “won’t believe anything that doesn’t prove their point,” according to a former official.
