Fert and wheat seed stripped off this field from the winds. Camera doesn’t pick it up but dirt is speckled white with fert granules

Wow sent a help email to scouting/fertility software I’ve used for years because they removed good parts of the software that has made it basically unusable. Explained I have to use competing software to get a usable report. Their response was to continue moving to competition.

Shows how much optimism there is for the future. It’s been bought and now moved thru two companies I consider to be “Where good things go to die”. It used to be really good but is now garbage.

I’ve found a lot of things while scouting fields from dolls, knives, and all kinds of metal but finding a actual coconut on the banks of the Assiniboine River in Manitoba definitely tops the “How did that get there” list

Trying to strip till the garden this year, fall rye and mow between rows. Plus my first spuds and corn are out of the ground already.

I see they have taken my advice and made the 2025 pdf copy have clickable index pages. All I had to do this year was add a few bookmarks and the pdf works better than paper or any apps I’ve tried
The 2025 Guide to Field Crop Protection is available for $10 at MASC Service Centres across Manitoba & can be accessed online at: gov.mb.ca/agriculture/crops/… #MBAg

For those who use the MB Crop Protection Guide pdf, I hotlink & Bookmark the index pages which makes it way more usable. I find it quicker and better than print or app's, got the idea from the Alberta Guide who sets theirs up this way. I can share a copy by email. @MBGovAg

Never considered myself lucky but apparently finding a 4 leaf clover is pretty easy. Even some 5 leaf, must be extra lucky. One small patch in my front yard found this many in maybe 2 min.
