Got an iRobot Roomba vacuum intead of the cheap Eufys Ive been buying. I got it on a deal from Amazon for $50 more than a Eufy replacement.

I wouldn’t have bothered with the self emptying base. I had some sawdust that got wet from the mopping and clogged up in the dust collector and didn’t empty. If you’re using the mop you have to refill it with water every time so emptying the dust is no biggie
I spent more time with C++ than any other language and I hated it.
Regular C and Python are so much easier to read. Maybe I’d feel the same way about them if I spent as much time with them?

as someone who has written C++ for a decade and professionally for 5 years, all i can say is: *good*.
i hope this sorry mess of a language can stagnate and die with some shreds of dignity, without the committee stuffing another 15 useless garbage incoherent features badly stolen from for other languages into its rotting corpse while everyone desperately pretends they aren't noticing the fact that no one has willingly started a new C++ codebase since 2018.
It has Lidar so it maps out the room and plans it’s route rather than random walk.
It stores the trash in the charging station so you don’t have to empty it every time.
