A critical Long Covid concept. It preys on previous tissue injuries and areas of pre-existing inflammation. We are finding here in Saint Pete/Clearwater these areas need extra attention, and aren’t easy to resolve. For example an elbow injury from tennis, or calf injury from soccer.
Why? The spike protein can impair tendon mechanics, wound repair, and extracellular-matrix integrity. This leaves pre-existing injuries more prone to stiffness, delayed healing, and reduced resilience. Spike slows epithelial wound closure and increases inflammation independent of viral replication. It disrupts the glycocalyx (heparan sulfate, hyaluronic acid, and other glycosaminoglycans), and remodels the extracellular matrix through integrins and TGF-β signaling. These structures normally help retain water and support tissue perfusion. It promotes collagen deposition and fibrosis in connective-tissue models and can drive microvascular inflammation.
The result is greater risk of stiffness, delayed healing, and re-injury. And more effort to remediate. Prescription meds won’t fix this.

So I have a 2025 escalade and not long after purchase things started to go haywire. AC turned on and off and would turn the fan up or down without touching it. Then upon start it would throw multiple system errors, turn the parking break on (while in reverse) and then start on its own. After multiple visits nothing was repaired. Finally i went to the dealer and pushed the lemon law button. @GM is now involved. This begs the question. Two not one but two SGMs (control modules) have been replaced and no fix. Now they are going wire by wire to find a short. When does it end? This vehicle will be torn apart to replace the wiring for the SGM if they find a short. Is this how it works @GM ? Escalades are not cheap and are your flagship vehicle. It costs you nothing to just replace it. Not a happy customer.
