Remember that these people are acting docile because the Hindutva clan can inflict an insane amount of violence in return. Not the state, not the institutions, not even any book, but people and their ability to hit the streets and inflict violence determine the course of society.
I wholeheartedly agree to this. Most "shaktas" are commonly commercial tantriks who do cheapest prayogas for money and favours. It has caused major in both major shakta states of Bengal and Kerala.
Compared to them Kathavachakas of today I find excruciatingly more annoying. Be it an obese kid or a middle aged baba , all of them seem to serve cringe nautanki , a cheap pop version of bhakti and definately unprovoked attack on Shakta oriented systems.
Respectfully disagree. Most kathavachaks of today are self proclaimed vaishnavas (most I find frauds) they propagate this dehati version of Hinduism that dilutes the practices rather than a nuanced take that sampradayas will have differences and it's ok of shaktas to offer bali
