Jeff Kaplan was a fraud, but he was correct about two things:
(1) Swore off adding Jetpack Cat because he realized how fucking stupid of an idea it was
(2) At the very least acknowledged the possibility of retiring/deleting heroes

This is entirely arbitrary and inconsistent to single out Deadeye. You have failed in game design when you start making bandaid microchanges like this. If they had any courage they would just delete the Cat from the game altogether
