I propose we should establish an informal court of patriots, limited to people above a certain follower count, where someone can challenge being blocked and the blocker has to explain their reasoning or unblock them if they wish to remain in good standing with the community
I’ve certainly blocked my share of people, but if an account (large enough for me to remember) were to object, I would happily explain exactly why I did it for everyone’s benefit. At least in my estimation, there would have been a good reason
I don’t think it’s healthy or wise to have permanent blocks fragmenting the network over often stupid things, particularly if the person being blocked has no idea why and no recourse to do anything about it. If people knew they might have to defend a block, maybe they’d be a little slower to do it. And the given reasoning and the resolution would give all the observers some insight into the character and beliefs of the complainants
I assume this will be an unpopular idea, but the fact is that I want to win and all this infighting and faction-forming upsets me. I don’t want my children to live under the thumb of gay race communists—or die under it. If we do not hang together, we will surely hang separately. If everyone were to surrender a tiny bit of dictatorial autonomy over their Twitter accounts, I believe it would be good for everyone

One of the contributing factors in the GOP wipeout this election is the feeling among Americans that the GOP has done nothing to reverse the foreign invasion. Now we have the data to prove their feelings are justified.

As much as it is a shame she felt the need to say something, I'm glad Powdur confronted Strawb directly on this.
The way Strawb and Rev behaved towards Powdur at the time was unwarrented. There's no sense trying to continue downplaying it as just a plain disagreement.
That event alone caused a huge rift in the "chud" (I hate this word) sphere and who knows if it will ever be mended.
Primarily because the parties involved will seemingly never accept any accountability for their actions.
