Peltola’s former campaign manager, fired this summer, goes on record to the NYTs to say that the Dems worked to get another Dan Sullivan on the ballot. ...And then subsequently tries to retract her statements.

Every single DSA caucus going after Nithya Raman over BDS has a weaker sanctions position on Russia than the House Freedom Caucus.

I can name 25 different candidates who are running on good ideas on to improve this country for working people.
I couldn’t name one from Darializa because most of her campaign was about Israel. Disingenuous bullshit like this is why the party can’t unite.

It’s complicated, messy, imperfect, and open to criticism; there is both subtle and overt racism, and no shortage of flaws to scrutinize. Yet none of that changes a fundamental reality: within its internationally recognized borders, Israeli democracy remains vibrant and inclusive of citizens from diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds. The idea of a Jewish and democratic Israel is both legitimate and credible, and has been successfully practiced in tandem.
Wow why is Mehdi Hasan attacking AES??!?!?!
2020. Abdul El-Sayed downplays and minimizes the rationing of healthcare that would result from a single payer, Medicare for all plan.
After getting destroyed with facts (by Mehdi Hasan of all people), El-Sayed resorts to quoting a disputed study about how many theoretical lives would be saved by Medicare for all.

Nominating Abdul El-Sayed was such a mistake. Like, this is genuinely so terrible. Should have just taken the easy road! Could have invested so much more in other states to expand the map.
Michigan Senate:
🔵 El-Sayed 48% (+2)
🔴 Rogers 46%

My values, my identity and my community are far more important to me than any individual election result. Regardless, it’s widely understood that I lost in my particular district for the same reasons this ad is repugnant, blatantly false, and incites even more violence against Jews.
And sadly, you consistently add fuel to this slanderous and anti-Jewish fire.

When you say "you guys" to me and Wajahat, as we critique openly bigoted attitudes towards Abdul, including from some Dems, do you mean "Muslims"? Or what? Just clarifying...

In all seriousness, though, are you a Dem at all? Who are your favorite nominees in the 2026 cycle?
I’ve been working all year to get people excited about Bobby Pulido, Johnny Garcia, Josh Turek, and Mary Peltola to bolster the moderate wing of the party. What are you doing?

Joel, do you think other people who lack legal status but who have lived otherwise productive and law-abiding lives might have wives and kids and other people devastated by their deportations? Or just your own friends?

A lot of people are protesting this post by saying "Abdul is a real talent, it's just that his own party is fighting him"
Guys, I hate to break the bad news, but if you can't consolidate your own party's support you're not actually a major political talent.

i promise you the GOP did not have to teach us to hate this shit. libs were sick of your fucking asses back when half the GOP still thought DSA was a roadside-assistance company. we have political agency. we can encounter your ideas independently and conclude they fucking suck.
Kyle Kulinski: Centrists using Fox News talking points to attack the left, like bringing up these unpopular ideas in the DSA platform
Tim Miller: The DSA platform is crazy though, maybe just change it.
Kyle: The ones you would consider crazy like abolishing prisons or open borders—none of our candidates ran on those things. Do you agree with me that's basically a Fox News talking point that centrists are echoing against their left flank?
Tim: Yes. I agree with that in part.
