Checking in on Fox News now that we know dems won house and senate. Never seen them so interested in people delivering policy to lift up the American people as opposed to revenge stuff now that Republicans are not in power!
The USA has the Trump admin on their mind as well as the individuals they are voting for on the ballot tonight. Can’t kill the economy, get us into wars of choice, and be blatantly corrupt and expect normal people with independent thought to go along with it.
President Trump is still watching the election results in the East Room tonight. As his handpicked candidates are struggling, a White House official is offering this assessment: "President Trump did a better job promoting many of the candidates on the ballot than the candidates did themselves."
"President Trump was not on the ballot, and it’s proven that Trump voters show up when he is on the ballot."
This is, uh, an interesting coincidence considering him revealing the plans Trump has for Iran post midterms were insane a few days ago.
BREAKING: US Senator Chris Murphy hospitalized following a stroke, per his office.
This comes just days after being briefed on highly classified military planning on Iran to restart the war after the midterms, where he called Trump's plan "insane."
"I will just say this: their plan is insane. It will lead to devastating escalation and the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law," he said four days ago.

Men/boys are the large majority of combat deaths in conflicts — omitted. Boys also do care work — omitted. Saying women & girls must be “at the heart” of peacebuilding is prioritisation, not equality. Higher unpaid care ratios occur because men are dying or fighting.

Right wingers crying about Obama has been so funny. Growing up, my family could not afford to go to Cheesecake Factory, but we weren’t under the impression it was fancy.
This is actually a condescending view of working-class people. I grew up in a working-class immigrant family and we ate at Red Lobster and The Cheesecake Factory for "fancy nights out." But even we understood that the White House should not look like the inside of a Red Lobster. Working-class people are not culturally illiterate just because their experiences are shaped by their limited means.
