Thanks so much to Andrew at Forest Glen Public School for organizing this amazing sandwich competition with your students! @fglwrdsb
#FireLecce Stephen, you should feel free proud to withdraw Bill 28 after you used it as a bully tactic that failed. Withdrawing it, is not enough. Negotiate. Participate in Collective Bargaining. Do your job. Or Resign! #IStandWithCUPE

I thought that since a few days had passed since the announcement of this, that I’d be less angry. Turns out I’m not.
I’m more angry just thinking of how much our students and schools could really use this money. #onted #FireLecce

Tissue paper coloured self portraits to match our “identity poems”. I was brave to use glue paste the first week and stayed after school to make sure the glue didn’t dry to the shelves! Love this crew!
#FirstDayPhotoChallenge I am teaching Grade 3&4. Which one is which? The best discovery-I remember playing on a basketball team for a year & my family can't remember. I finally found the proof, with one hiccup, I must've been away the day of the photo?#FamilyMysteryRemains @wrdsb
Board game fun - Prime Climb and Multi. Board games that promote automaticity and strategy @wrdsb @VBaechs @DKarashialis #SummerLearningWRDSB

Looking for a great version (PDF/video/link) about Turtle Island? Students learning about various regions in Canada and wanted to acknowledge the land we learn on, and likewise, the country we live in and enjoy, belonged to our indigenous population, who called it Turtle Island.
#BellLetsTalk Today my class created some messages about self care or words of encouragement - always important, especially amidst a pandemic - to look for ways to be resilient during tough times.
Getting used to our “new normal” school routines - hand washing, wearing masks and new school routines. We love our “epic hand washing song mix”! youtu.be/-gfOHEaHdjo. #WRDSBFirstDay
Has something like the coronavirus ever happened before? How does this picture from 1918 remind you of 2020? What connections can you make while reading “The Day the Lines Changed”. What did the author mean when using the word “dot” & “crooked”? #WRDSBFirstDay
