Mid and short game is where it matters. I stopped playing golf because I would 3 stroke on to the green on a par 5, and then 3 putt for a bogey.

If you ever pick up golf as a sport, don't ever let that feeling of a clean long shot or drive convince you that you're okay. Obsess over your mid(approach) game and short game. I lost so many strokes at the weekend on my approach(100m or less), chips and putting.
