We did a thing
We were honored today as a CLAS School of Distinction for the library program created by the entire @TCSBoardofEd library squad to provide library services, resources, materials, & reading engagement to our students during Covid-19. Very thankful to all! @egmackey @MikeDaria
Need a new read. Recommendations welcome. I love intriguing nonfiction audiobooks with a great narrator. Whatcha got, Twitterverse?
Donations are currently being matched! Help us get more bang for our bucks! donorschoo.se/e/wxKKXhv94nb
Applying for grants (AND this Donor's Choose) to get comfortable seating for my library! My students say all the time that they wish there was somewhere to sit and read other than the hard wooden chairs. Let's make it happen!!! donorschoose.org/project/my-…
I'm trying to reorganize my fiction section to better help my students find the books they're looking for easily and quickly! Help us out by checking out our Donors Choose! donorschoose.org/project/bin…
A tummy bug has been making its way through our house this past week. 8yo stepson (the lone survivor!) says “If I don’t get sick, I’m gonna write the next I Survived book. I Survived the Stomach Virus, 2021.” Watch out @laurenTarshis !
Love my people
Happy Holiday's from your favorite librarians! @TCSBoardofEd @ezigbo_ #LibrarySquad @library_k8 @Meg_DaLibrarian @gtidwell1
Yup! Here’s my own before and after from last week❤️
This is a great visual example of what weeding does for library collections. # of books is important, but less important than the quality of the collection. + weeded collections are more browsable & approachable. #collectiondevelopment #weeding #StrongLibrariesStrongSchools

A special hello to all my followers, especially the newbies. Planning to give away several bookmarks for my upcoming novel, #ForeverThisSummer. A bit of 🌞🌞🌞during this time of unrest. Stay safe & stay tuned! (Illustrator: #VashtiHarrison 😍😍😍)
One year ago today, @GoCHSFalcons showered me and @MrHamMLIS with diapers and wipes and we STILL haven’t had to buy any wipes and only a couple boxes of diapers!!! Still so very thankful!
The 2019-2020 school year has officially ended. Due to maternity leave and the ‘Rona, I was only at school a few months, but what an amazing year! CES now has an exemplary library, my NBCT journey is cranking along, and next year I’ll be headed to a new school! See y’all in fall!
The @TCSBoardofEd Library Squad wishes you all a safe summer and we will see you soon! Keep reading!
