Update: Steele-John has now deleted the letter and made a new post in which he refers to his decision to post the letter and says "I didn't want to be seen as hiding from it, so I shared". (I doubt anyone much will believe that explanation.) He has also limited replies.

Holy fucking shit - that detail about the dude who went to anika’s offfice
How is he being ‘kept out of parliament’? He very publicly refused to take the leave his leader asked him to take. Now he’s deciding not to turn up to do his job. It’s one or the other, mate.
Gosh what bad luck this senator repeatedly has. My guy has multiple staff to triple check things for him and yet here we are doing things without permission.
Second statement from Jordon Steele-John in less than 24 hours – he confirms he deleted his post that included the letter from Greens members to David Shoebridge (which was repeatedly marked as “CONFIDENTIAL”)
Confirms he will still not attend Senate estimates next week @6NewsAU

Yes great piece. I believe it’s true that female politicians are more intensely targeted. Better Politics survey to be launched on 23rd November by Alastair Campbell at Parliament & NPC shows impact on all politicians MH. However male leaders also hounded not just on social media
An excellent piece by Hartcher. But he seems to completely miss that he’s talking about three female MPs (or their offices) attacked by three men. If there was such an obvious pattern with another aspect of identity I’m pretty sure he’d highlight it. theage.com.au/politics/feder…

How are you going to feed 2 children with no cash in your wallet if you wake up in that scenario? Having some supplies spare for a crisis is just good practice.
Pull yourselves together and do it.

People still don't understand how important this kind of thing is. It isn't fearmongering, it's being prepared for chaos when chaos is a realistic potential future scenario.
Not doing this is negligence. xitter.cf/BBCNewsnight/status/21…

Speaking to @vicderbyshire, Defence Secretary Wes Streeting details advice to households to be prepared for a “dangerous and turbulent world”.

He threatened a woman with a hammer and was free to try to kill a female MP. Saying we care about male violence against women is pure cant. theage.com.au/politics/feder…
Men who try to kill women and their enablers always have excuses. Family court, tough time, mental illness. Get in the bin. theage.com.au/politics/feder…
Other ideologies are important (sov cit garbage, religious - Islamism and anti-choice freaks - extremism, far left and right) but ultimately it comes down to a hatred of women. Always women. theage.com.au/politics/feder…
I’m sure this will somehow be Megan’s fault, despite her having no contact with him …
The 82-year-old is being investigated after it was alleged he was found to be in possession of a huge stash of child abuse material - which was reported by his own son.

A lot of hate thrown towards Meghan today and barely any towards Thomas Markle who allegedly possessed child pornography. Very normal. Rape culture really having a moment.

Let's be very clear. Amy Acton's birth mother hasn't been in her life for 48 years.
So when the birth mother calls Amy a liar, she's calling the 12 year-old child who was raped by her stepfather a liar.
Ramaswamy has reached a new disgusting low, even for Republicans.

At least you know Trump is in it to make money. The absolute amorality of this oleaginous buffoon is something else entirely.
After backing Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad at a rally and saying he was “disgusted” by Republicans “whining” about it, JD Vance said, "Getting into the middle of that drama is not something I want to do.”
