"We don't send them, we get in trouble.
We send them, they get sick."
This parent perfectly sums up the horrible situation families find themselves in when schools don't take care of their indoor air quality.

Adults get life coaches to change their behaviors. Children get behavior management. Adults struggle to change behavior, yet expect kids to do it with just a suspension. Get realistic about behavior change in children.

Randall Adjessom, 16, was sleeping in his childhood home when SWAT police used a battering ram to break down his front door on November 13, 2023.
The warrant was over marijuana and for a person who did not live in the house.

Last week hordes of NYPD officers surrounded Luigi Mangione for his perp walk to the courthouse for the cameras as if he was a captured Mutant & yesterday a NYPD cop literally walked by a woman on fire on the subway & did nothing. What is the NYPD even doing?

Casual reminder that this is a stark example that the ruling class is built up of public servants that care a lot more about appeasing donors than they do about you, the people they’re supposed to be serving
NEW: @NYCMayor tells me why he felt the need to greet Luigi Mangione in Manhattan today.
“I’m not going to just allow him into the city. I wanted to look him in the eye and say you carried out this terroristic act in my city, the city that the people of New York love.”

You can get a very nice regional graph of Covid transmission by going to the main WastewaterSCAN dashboard (data.wastewaterscan.org/) and clicking on the purple "Regional Trends" button near the top center of the screen.
ALT Regional rankings, highest to lowest transmission: Midwest, Northeast, South, West. WastewaterSCAN characterizes all regions except the West as experiencing high transmission.

“Was Luigi justified?
Yes no”
Someone sent me these pics of street art in Manhattan where the residents of the area seemed to have voted overwhelmingly in support of Luigi Mangione.
ALT “Was Luigi justified? Yes No” written in chalk on the street
ALT Chalk marks on the street showing that people overwhelmingly vote in favor of “Yes”

A bunch of people who have never been interested in protecting kids from school shootings want to protect CEOs from being shot. I just think it's revealing that these people can't help but show us which lives they think matter at every turn.

We have pushed so hard to go “back to normal” that a well fitted respirator has become the best tool a person has to avoid catching AND spreading COVID.
No one should have to fear arrest for wearing a medical device to keep themselves safe.
We should all agree that’s wrong /9
