MY FITNESS JOURNEY.
As a boy growing up, I started with football. But in 2012, I was forced to stop playing. As time went on, my cousin started weightlifting in 2017. He would tease me and even punch me just because he had started lifting weights. That was actually how I got into weightlifting.
I started lifting in December 2018, but because of my family background, I had to work and take care of myself. I wasn’t able to train consistently, but I made sure to train whenever I had the time.
I was struggling with life alongside training. Sometimes, after training, I didn’t even have food to eat. And we all know how difficult it is to build muscle when you’re not eating enough or getting proper nutrition.
Even after school, things didn’t immediately change. At one point, I was training only about 10 days a month. I could still build some muscle with that, but my nutrition wasn’t good enough because I was still living with my parents.
It wasn’t until 2025, when I moved out of my parents’ house, that things started changing. I began training at least 15 days a month, and that’s when I started noticing a significant change in my physique.
Looking back, I realize I didn’t have the perfect conditions. I just kept going with whatever I had. The journey wasn’t easy, but I never completely stopped.

Is it really possible to build and maintain muscle with just bodyweight exercise?
Your upper body says bodybuilder, but your legs say you just started yesterday.
Some gym bros will spend years building a massive chest, big arms, and broad shoulders but treat leg day like a punishment.
Meanwhile, my squat shoes are ready to go to war.

Using 17.5kg/38lb dumbbells for lateral raises, do we still have gym people who think this won’t grow big shoulders?
Gym bros will train chest through pain, destroy their arms for a pump, and spend hours on shoulders… but the moment leg day shows up, suddenly life gets complicated.
