Hello. Eight episodes got popped by our podcast platform for use of copyrighted music. Yes, it sucks, but such is the way of things. Your subscription feed may refresh and tell you there’s a new episode. Don’t get excited, it’s just “safe” versions being uploaded. -K

But, here's the biggie. WHAT A COVER. Destiny 1995, main evented by Toyota vs Hokuto.
As it happens there's a really good podcast episode I did about that match with @MustSeeMatches, to which you can listen here: open.spotify.com/episode/0oE…
A classic. No better way to celebrate than to listen to our episode on it with @BensonRichardE.

Let’s shamelessly ride the search wave… Here’s our episode on the 1985 Dump Matsumoto vs Chigusa Nagayo Hair Death match, as featured in @netflix’s #QueenOfVillains. (The match is featured, not the podcast. 😁)
NEW EPISODE! @sarahparkin1 brings her knowledge of the first Chigusa Nagayo vs Dump Matsumoto Hair Death match.

Thank you for recommending our episode on Dump/Chigusa hair vs hair amongst such illustrious company.
Maybe the first real "eye opener" episode for Kieran & I, and @SarahParkin1 was EXCELLENT as our guide in the world of 1980's Joshi.

Greatest match in history? Not so sure. All-time banger from two of the best to ever do it? Abso-bloody-lutely.
Today is a great day to watch this and listen to the @MustSeeMatches lads break it down (also, me):

It's the 11th anniversary of Ishii vs Shibata from G1 Climax 2013, the first match that Mark put on his "Must See Matches" ballot.
The ultimate "pissing contest" match in Pro wrestling.
Here's our episode on that match:
NEW EPISODE! @Patrick_W_Reed returns to talk the history, context, details and legacy of Katsuyori Shibata and Tomohiro Ishii beating the piss out of each other on Aug 4, 2013.

It's the 19th anniversary of one of the best "stupid" matches ever.
Two absolute units just refusing to back down and rising to the occasion.
As great as the chop battle and the stiffness is, its a shame that people ovelook Kensuke Sasaki going high risk.
NEW EPISODE! It spawned thousands of imitators, but there’s only one original. Kensuke Sasaki vs. Kenta Kobashi from NOAH Destiny, July 18, 2005. Get it quick! Chop-chop!

Mark has a new podcast! And the first guest is… Kieran! 😄
Follow the show here and tune in to episode 1 of DiscWorldOrder to hear them talking Terry Pratchett rather than wrestling for a change.
It's the first episode of Discworld Order - A podcast where guests join us to discuss the Discworld novels.
I'm joined by @KieranEdits to discuss both The Colour of Magic & The Light Fantastic.
