Ah yes my Twitter where I espouse such awful ideas as... *checks notes* "everyone deserves human rights and the necessities of life", "safety is a good thing", "racism is still a problem", & "actually, as it turns out fascism is bad who knew?".

Anyone know where I can find more images like this, illustrating how airborne viruses work?

There are no downsides to #CleanAir in workplaces & schools. It will: 👉Reduce illness 👉Reduce pollution 👉Reduce allergens 👉Boost concentration & productivity Cheaper than sick pay & lost education! It should be an essential requirement, like clean water. #CovidIsAirborne

“Children and teenagers are twice as likely to develop #LongCovid after a second coronavirus infection as after an initial infection, a large new study has found. The study, of nearly a half-million people under 21, published Tuesday in Lancet Infectious Diseases”

This is such an unfriendly world for people who don't go in for convenient social fictions.

And on that note I will once again remind everyone that if you know someone in hospital, make being at the hospital your priority. Witnesses matter. People with visitors are humanized & have added layer of protection.

It’s wild how people can effortlessly understand the righteousness of everybody from Robin Hood to Andor and then in real life simp for the Sheriff of Nottingham and the Death Star

By the time it was identified in 1983, HIV had already established itself globally. Its long asymptomatic phase was the perfect camouflage. Epidemics thrive when the sick look healthy.

Unfortunately 'False Equivalance' is extremely common fallacy. (Is it still a fallacy if done intentionally?) Don't fall for it.
Doctors giving health services are not equal to bakers making rocket ship cakes. What the fuck is wrong with you 😂

My pancreas produces too much insulin, without my body having insulin resistance. I’ve learned to change my diet to keep my blood sugar more steady but sometimes it will steeply drop off, and then the easiest fix is drinking a soda. EBT regulations banning sugary drinks will kill

"Most want to work but companies don’t accommodate." #QuotedForTruth
“Disabled people can get a job. If they can post on social media, they can work.” But will a company give us the accommodations we need? Will they make sure we don’t get fired if we’re only able to work on days we feel decent? Most want to work but companies don’t accommodate.

autistic kids getting stereotyped as difficult or disobedient, meanwhile all it usually takes to earn their respect is just explaining the reasoning behind the things you do and the things you tell them to do

Many with such damage won’t even be able to see this, a crucial point. Anosognosia, lack of insight/awareness into one’s own brain changes, is common after frontal lobe injury. So of course denial would be rampant. Of course people would say “I’m fine, nothing wrong with me”

people asking "what, are you going to wear that for the rest of your life?" yeah, because none of you are interested in mitigating disease. I have already come to terms with it.

I used to work for a dog charity, and it was well known that dogs who fail at being police dogs or who have to leave being police dogs are incredibly difficult to rehome because violence and reactivity is trained into them. Police animals are abused to turn them into weapons.
Fuck the LAPD, and fuck law enforcement’s use of animals as copaganda and as weapons to brutalize human beings. Horses are naturally skittish; their instinct is to flee, not to “attack.” Their limbs are fragile, meaning they can shatter when being forced to stomp a human body. In the footage circulating of the anti-ice protests where cops are using horses to harm protestors, the animals are clearly in distress and the danger to both human and animal is evident. In one viral video, a cop tried to use his horse to trample a protestor then had to resort to using his baton, but ended up smashing another cop’s horse in the face. In the past few years police horses have died after being spooked by drones, from heat exhaustion, and neglect by officers who don’t feed or water them. And then there are the K-9 units. There are 50k active police dogs in the US and they are bred and trained primarily for “suspect apprehension” - though of course, the majority of “suspects” bitten by dogs are not dangerous threats. They are also disproportionately black. (This practice dates back to slavery days when dogs were used to hunt down escaped slaves.) The training for these animals is violent, and the way they are used on human beings is violent. At the end of the day, the animals are not the problem, the protestors are not the problem; the COPS are the problem.
