अदाणी समूह को निशाना बनाकर उठाए गए सवालों को आधार बनाते हुए SEBI से पूरे निवेश तंत्र में बदलाव की मांग की गई, लेकिन सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस पर मुहर नहीं लगाई।
तृणमूल कांग्रेस सांसद महुआ मोइत्रा ने प्रशांत भूषण के माध्यम से अदालत में मांग रखी कि AIF और FPI के वास्तविक निवेशकों की पहचान और उनके निवेश का पूरा विवरण सार्वजनिक किया जाए।
प्रशांत भूषण ने विदेशी निवेश में पारदर्शिता की कमी और शेयर बाजार में संभावित हेरफेर की आशंका जताई। इस दौरान अदाणी समूह से जुड़े मुद्दों का भी उल्लेख किया गया।
29 अक्टूबर को सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने मांगी गई राहत देने से इनकार कर दिया। अदालत ने स्पष्ट किया कि मौजूदा कानूनी और नियामकीय व्यवस्था में ऐसे व्यापक सार्वजनिक खुलासे का निर्देश नहीं दिया जा सकता।
अदाणी समूह पर सवाल उठाना अलग बात है, लेकिन उन सवालों के आधार पर SEBI के नियम बदलवाने की कोशिश को अदालत की मंजूरी नहीं मिली।
