One hundred percent. Here legal roads being openly occupied by illegal hawkers who don't pay taxes. Shopkeepers have compliance and taxes illegals don't . So two set of rules. Tax goes officially and hafta openly . Traffic jams, accidents and fatalities. It's all normalised .
Situation is such that illegality is having upper hand over legality. Corruption in the set up is such that they don't have moral courage to uphold the law. Need to approach Hon court for relief

There is a High Court order against encroachment of hawkers on MG Road over 20 years back. Similarly, Deccan gymkhana residents fought hard to remove encroachments in front of Kamla Nehru Park. Both places the hawkers are back. Corporators and @PMCPune officials always get away with shameful governance and allegedly get nice fat haftas from hawker lobby. #Pune

Imagine the money earned by private contractors and commissions to the who's who and citizens made to suffer.
Issues raised exist for the last 20+ years since me moving to the Undri Hilltop. Total neglect on behalf of the Administration & Government. Why is the #DPPLAN for Undri yet not approved and published? Are major Developers raking in big bucks in connivance of #PMC?
These are some questions in the minds of the tax paying citizens which needs to be addressed to, immediately.
