"winding down." ok, maybe. but when the green light turns yellow is often the time of greatest violence. especially when they are desperate for something they can point to as a victory.

This IDF desperation to destroy these balloons reminds me of @davidgraeber's amazing piece on giant puppets at global justice protests. It signals desperation to control the narrative #Palestine #FreePalestine #SaveSheikhJarrah

If a single Jewish-Israeli child were pulled out from beneath a pile of rubble of what used to be her home & obliterated the rest of her family, not a single Western gov’t would not condemn it or try to blame “both sides”. Racism & colonialism explain this. They expect us to die.

The effort to bring critical discussions about Israel and Palestine to Cleveland was worth it.

First the IDF targeted a building housing media operations of AP and others in Gaza. nytimes.com/2021/05/16/world… Then they manipulated the media to fool Hamas forces in Gaza. nytimes.com/live/2021/05/15/…

Israel’s attack on a press building in Gaza draws condemnations. (Published 2021)

Media groups demand explanations after Israeli forces destroyed the high-rise that housed the offices of The Associated Press and other news outlets.

Analysis | Jordan detained a prince. The government’s determined to squash political dissent.
