Congratulations to the ten serving and former Met officers and staff recognised in the King’s Birthday Honours 2026 for their outstanding contributions to policing and to our capital's communities.
Another day, another @SW_Help delay. The 05:16 from Farnborough is running ~25 mins late due to “overrunning engineering works” closing the mainline.
Delays, cancellations & late-running trains now feel like a daily occurrence. When will this improve? @swtrains_watch
Honoured to have led 1 Section on the Master Cadet 26/01 course at @CTCFrimleyPark — A demanding assessment of leadership, teamwork, and fieldcraft. Well done to all 40 cadets who successfully passed this flagship course of the Army’s Cadet Forces. @CadetsinSchools @ArmyCadetsUK
Honoured to be taking over the Army section at Royal Russell CCF. After Major Lacey’s 20 years service, I have very big boots to fill!
After 20 years of distinguished service, Major J Lacey has handed over command of our Army Section to Captain N Quick
Major Lacey joins Army Cadet Commissions Board @ACCBHQ while Capt Quick, ex-Cadet CSM and instructor for 10 years, assumes command @CadetsinSchools @ArmyCadetsUK

Very proud of my cadets over the last few days!
Behind the scenes lots of hard work went into looking smart and choreographing excellent drill routine. They should feel proud representing @RoyalRussellCCF contingent to the wider school community.
@ArmyCadetsUK @ColCadetsArmy
Today, our school community came together in a moment of reflection and gratitude for the sacrifices made by those who served, and continue to serve, to protect our freedoms. 🌹

Don’t they look smart and professional. Would have one of these with pride! @metpoliceuk
One of the things I love about #EmergencyResponse is staffing up & working with different teams.
Today I worked with a team I’m getting to know and a team I’d never met, and of course bumped into old friends.
Every one of them a credit to the organisation. 👏🏻☺️ #ThinBlueLine 🚨
Well done to all the candidates! Wishing you every success for the results this week. @ACCBHQ

Last night I attended the King John Dinner in preparation for my first time marshalling the @lordmayors_show this coming November. Fantastic to make new friends and connections. Had the pleasure of Deputy Commandant @ACF_NELondon at dinner!
Fantastic effort troops! Well done on earning your @Official_REME berets! Keep up the hard work.
