A “simple idea” supposedly saved over a 1000 Crores.. another one will save 1000 more and you don’t even have to dig footings and cut trees to find out. Scrap the 4.5km flyover too. Its another blunder.

The maths doesn't add up 🤔. The repackaged 4.3 km elevated corridor project is still estimated to be same as the cost of 14 flyover project i.e. ₹1,090 crore. So how is the public money saved with this proposal?
To prevent another blunder, more and more Hyderabadis need to start asking this question from the government "Why is there no publicly available mandatory scientific studies done like DPR, cumulative EIA, socio-economic impact study, intergenerational impact study before commencing such projects? " Unless we don't ask, they will keep mum and will do whatever they want to do. #SaveKBR #Hyderabad #KBR #Telangana #India #Democracy

SaveKBR, directly representing 50,000+ Hyderabadis, has been questioning flyover-led development around KBR for 10 years now.
Our question has remained simple:
What is the scientific proof that these flyovers will solve Hyderabad’s traffic problem in the long run without damaging KBR National Park—Hyderabad’s last major green lung?
The earlier H-CITI plan proposed 7 flyovers + 7 underpasses around KBR.
Citizens protested. We asked for dialogue. We asked for the scientific studies behind the project.
You know what happened?

Now the 14-structure plan has been repackaged as a 4.3-km, 6-lane elevated corridor from Jubilee Hills Check Post to NFCL Junction, estimated at ₹1,090 crore.
So, @revanth_anumula @CommissionrGHMC , we are asking the same questions again:
Where is the DPR❓
Where is the cumulative Environmental Impact Assessment❓
Where are the socio-economic and intergenerational impact assessments❓
Which independent scientists, environmental experts and urban-mobility professionals were consulted❓
And were citizens given an opportunity to examine and respond to this revised project before another ₹1,090 crore of public money is committed❓
GHMC now says the corridor will have “zero footprint” in KBR’s Eco-Sensitive Zone and minimise the impact on existing green cover.
We want to see 🧐 the science behind that claim.
The one-way traffic system has already shown that traffic around KBR can be managed differently.
If the original 14-structure plan had to be scrapped and redesigned, shouldn't the government first explain what went wrong with the earlier planning, what public money has already been spent, and why this new proposal is the right long-term solution?
Changing the project does not erase the questions—or the money already spent.
Every crore is taxpayers’ money.
Every major infrastructure decision deserves evidence, scrutiny and accountability.

This man is a hero.
Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian captain of flydubai Flight 1073, fought back after being stabbed in the cockpit.
Despite being severely injured, he managed to unlock the cockpit door - allowing Israeli passengers and the Emirati crew to intervene and save all the passengers.
Together, their extraordinary courage saved 174 lives.

Why is @policybazaar sending 5 yr upfront premium payment messages ? The 3 yr payments done earlier were gone waste when Govt lowered health premiums GST. Now that @irdaindia is overhauling industry last week, same logic of getting stuck with old higher premiums here ??
A disgrace and shameful act by government officials in all departments. Doctors included. NIMS has been a premier medical center for decades. @IMAIndiaOrg should cancel his license permanently. Thank you @TelanganaACB

30 days if no response, will write to Appellate

Not one mainstream media in Hyderabad Telangana has the guts and courage to speak up against this illegal tree cutting happening since years because they are all sold to parties
@timesofindia @Eenadu_Newspapr @TelanganaToday @DeccanChronicle @TheHansIndiaWeb @V6News @TV9Telugu
Hyderabad authorities must be blind, deaf, dumb, mute.
To allow trees to be cut in every lane of Hyderabad.
And media is hand in glove with all political parties and govt to ignore this every year.
I curse on behalf of killed trees, may death befall upon those responsible
No use as trees continue to be cut. No amount of activism helps in Hyderabad. Side branches cut by @GHMCOnline every Ganesh time. Top is cut by @tgspdcl
Nothing remains of the trees.

This is what happens when a government doesn’t listen to its citizens and chooses to go its own way.
📰 As per @thhyderabad @SVadlamoodi report, the Telangana government is considering reducing H-CITI’s proposed 14 flyovers and underpasses to just ONE elevated corridor.
But why stop at one?
Why not shelve the entire flyover project around KBR National Park?
Hyderabadis have reached this stage after:
🔴 Multiple peaceful street protests 🔴 Police detentions 🔴 High Court proceedings 🔴 Supreme Court proceedings 🔴 Repeated appeals for scientific alternatives
And what has Hyderabad lost in the process?
🌳 Thousands of age-old trees in KBR’s Eco-Sensitive Zone.
The one-way traffic system around KBR has now shown what citizens have been saying for years:
Simple, practical traffic solutions were possible all along.
So why was a disastrous project involving thousands of crores of taxpayers’ money pushed around Hyderabad’s last green lung—putting KBR’s existence at risk in the name of solving traffic woes?
@TelanganaCMO @revanth_anumula @GHMCOnline @CommissionrGHMC must answer:
Why flyovers were approved in KBR's eco-sensitive zone❓
Where are the mandatory DPR, EIA, Environmental & Social Impact Assessment, inter-generational impact study, traffic impact studies and cost-benefit analysis❓
Were these studies placed in the public domain before execution❓
Which experts, climate scientists and urban mobility professionals were consulted❓
Why did the so called Tree Protection Committee approve the axing of thousands of trees in KBR’s ESZ without a detailed and transparent public study❓
This is not merely about reducing 14 structures to 1.
It is about accountability, scientific decision-making and the future of Hyderabad.
Citizens are ready to suggest better alternatives.
Will the government finally listen?
