Imagine being a passenger in this flight. Watching your aircraft attempt to land for the THIRD time. Moments before touchdown, anxiety builds inside the cabin, and everyone holds their breath not knowing what will happen. Then the wheels finally touch down, and passengers erupt in cheers and applause. What a relief!
But what if the third attempt could also fail?
The crew might consider diverting to a nearby airport, depending on weather, fuel reserves and conditions. Remember every missed approach uses fuel, and the decision to continue or divert becomes increasingly important ✈️

When the last several Harry Potter books were released, we had midnight book launches attended by millions. Children, in some cases very young, finished these 700 & 800 page books in a single day. And now people are telling me I made it up, that this couldn’t ever have happened.

The 2026 midterm elections didn't just determine who controls Congress for the next two years—they also determine whether the United States, 250 years after its founding, remains a democracy, @anneapplebaum says. She explores what citizens and lawmakers can do next to strengthen the institutions and values that have been threatened in the Trump era.
