Former bricklayer here. Most working class people (like most middle-class people) are disgusted by the comments coming from Reform UK figures caught on camera by ITV.
Bigoted privately educated multimillionaire far-right wanker Nigel Farage doesn't give a solitary shit about working class people. Nor does bigoted privately educated multimillionaire far-right wanker Rupert Lowe.
Posh-boy millionaire Nigel Farageβs latest excuse is that most working-class men are racist and misogynistic, sniff womenβs chairs, would sexually assault female colleagues and make disgusting remarks about their own daughters, such as: βFuck me, if she was my daughter, it would still be bath night on a Thursday. Iβll wash you properly this time.β
The white working-class friends I grew up with, from primary and secondary school to college and university, are not nonces or bigots.
Farage doesnβt get to smear an entire class of people to excuse the disgusting behaviour of Reform councillors and activists.

Sadly, this will be a wet dream for Reform/Restore bunch.
Twitter and Reform are flooded with people who think disabled people should be wiped out of the gene pool.
Theyβre no longer afraid of hiding their true opinions about disabled people.

History should make us more vigilant, not complacent.
Watch Channel 4βs The Experiment at 10pm tonight and join the conversation about disability, dehumanisation and the responsibility to defend human rights.

Exceptionally sharp programming by Channel 4 in The Experiment exploring how insidious the Nazi T-4 programme was, impact of messaging & propaganda... then staging it for 2026.
Highly recommended viewing.

Iβve just seen Channel 4βs The Experiment, it was worrying to see how many of the people went along with it, but it was also good to see how strong the voices of opposition were.
Iβd encourage all to watch it, and then think about how the media and Politicians label the disabled
When Disabled people are repeatedly framed as a cost, it affects how society sees us. @Channel4's The Experiment confronts ableism, segregation and the consequences of devaluing Disabled lives.

π¨Did I imagine Channel 4's The Experiment last night?
Because I genuinely expected the fallout from that programme to be everywhere this morning. Instead, I've had Sky News on since 6am and not once have I heard it discussed.
π©Let that sink in.
It exposed how easily people can be persuaded to see disabled people as a burden, a problem, a drain on society, rather than human beings.
Some participants were willing to support policies that would strip away dignity, freedom and basic rights. Some even supported institutionalising disabled people.
And the reaction today?
Silence.
Apparently we're supposed to be more outraged by celebrity gossip, political point-scoring and culture-war nonsense than by a programme highlighting how quickly prejudice against disabled people can be normalised.
As a disabled person, I found that far more frightening than the programme itself.
The truly shocking thing wasn't what people said during the experiment. The truly shocking thing is that so many people woke up this morning, saw what happened, and simply carried on as if it was normal.
Disabled people are constantly told that accessibility is too expensive, support is too generous, benefits are too high, adjustments are too inconvenient, and that somehow we're responsible for the barriers society puts in front of us.
Then people wonder why disabled people are scared.
If a programme revealing this level of hostility towards disabled people can't even start a national conversation, what does that say about us as a society?
Because honestly, the silence is speaking volumes.
π Disability rights are human rights. This conversation shouldn't stop at Britain's borders.

Judging by the abuse disabled people get everyday and the toxic narrative pushed by politicians and media, itβs easy to see how public opinion can be swayed into accepting eugenics.
Weβre already halfway there.

Reform were exposed as racist,
sexist, misogynistic, homophobic,
anti-muslim extremists.
Instead of highlighting that as a problem, apologising and taking accountability, they've chosen to deflect all of that and attack the very people who exposed them.
They're a disgrace!

Ladies, letβs all take a moment to thank Bob. Bob has some incredible advice. Simply remove yourself from the situation & donβt let him carry on raping you. Thanks to Bob, no woman will ever be raped or sexually assaulted ever again. Isnβt Bob just fucking great? Fucking idiot.

instead of publicly speaking out about the chauvinism within reform, you've chosen to target the very people who helped expose it.
