118-109 for Canelo Alvarez, who threw more combinations than we’ve seen in years. Lot of competitive rounds over the first half but Alvarez took control over the second with clean, precise counter punching. Christian Mbilli had some moments but expected more pressure & activity.

This number, which I know @MattNorlander had said was merely an estimation, will make the rounds. Shocked to see people startled by the general amount GCU is spending, not exactly a secret they invest a lot into their athletics.
A few things:
1. Spending/investing in a program is a great thing. It is one of the reasons why GCU has accomplished so much in such little time (time being relative, so new to D1 hoops)
2. With this, comes big time expectations. Everyone around the program knows this, and they don't run from expectations
3. GCU Fans should be ecstatic, this is significant investment in a program. Buy your tickets and show up and show out
Here is an excerpt from my Digital Magazine, start of the 23-24 season:
Grand Canyon spent around $12M on their roster for the 2026-27 season, per @MattNorlander.
In the same range of spending:
Syracuse, Wisconsin, Iowa State, NC State, Clemson, Nebraska, Georgia, TCU, Minnesota
Less than $12M:
Purdue, Iowa, Kansas State, Butler, Seton Hall, Florida State, Notre Dame, Arizona State, Wake Forest, Rutgers, Utah, Virginia Tech, Washington, Colorado, Northwestern, Georgia Tech, UCF, California, Stanford, Penn State, Boston College, DePaul
Wow... 🤯

Aaron Wilson, well respected NFL insider who also covers the Houston Texans said this about Michael Bidwill:
"I hear bad things"
"Difficult guy"
"Strange behavior"
"Real cheapness"
"Arrogant"
"Probably the worst owner in the NFL"
"(No one) more disliked or not respected"

🚨 BREAKING: Katie Zacharia has been fired as the White House press secretary

Mike Davis did this at TSU years ago.
Nonconference games don’t matter to the SWAC, we’ve never gotten an at large bid, so play up & test yourselves, have fancy hotels, etc.
Not even SWAC regular season matters much because you just have to win the conference tournament.
Why would you code a limp into the robot? It’s a fucking robot with gyroscopes and I’m sure tons of sensors.
Have that thing go into bear crawl mode or even handstand mode wtf @Tesla
I’m happy for you (and would honestly love to try one) but why are Huawei advertising to me? The best way for me to get this is via the gray market, not directly, and won’t work on Verizon (and I think AT&T too) since they use whitelists. Also, no warranty so risk is all on me
Wild flex when a few of those were on your watch in maroon too.
Congrats on tonight though. 🤷🏽♂️
