so we need to keep flooding all social media platforms with loudmouth spooks and political operatives? yea let's further degrade the signal to noise ratio lol
first step is to outright BAN platform-funded engagement payouts cuz their only purpose is to reward attention extraction. the beneficiaries of this new economy have all the incentives to monetize grievances indefinitely, even when the public would be better served by their resolution. the "town square" larping on here is pathetic

Rudolf Steiner was so correct when he warned that humanity’s “shadowy thoughts” would one day creep over the Earth like a spider’s web: a brood of half-mineral, spider-like creatures, interconnected in a network with “an overwhelming power of intellect.”
“And from the Earth there will spring forth a terrible brood of beings, a brood of automata of an order of existence lying between the mineral and the plant kingdoms and possessed of an overwhelming power of intellect. This swarm will seize upon the Earth, will spread over the Earth like a network of ghastly, spider-like creatures… These spidery creatures will be all interlocked with one another, and in their outward movements they will imitate the thoughts that men have spun out of the shadowy intellect… All the thoughts that lack substance and reality will then be endowed with being.”
- Rudolf Steiner, GA 204 (Dornach, May 13, 1921)
In today’s world (2026), the Internet is that connective web, running through electricity, wires and power, and reaching further into transhumanism, where the web begins to entrap us. AI, which some fear will become a superintelligence (theory of Singularity), a digital god, or even the Antichrist, works through the same things: powered by electricity, the decaying light of sub-nature, bound to sub-earthly forces of darkness.
Perhaps that is the secret of the “World Wide Web.”

When rationalist types who are into AI safety talk about transgressive ideas it’s always like “what’s so wrong with necrophilia anyway?” and never “why don’t we have a debt jubilee?”
Chris Avellone (Planescape, KOTOR 2, and Fallout: New Vegas) just dropped a MEGATON NUKE regarding BioWare's hiring practices...
"...when applicants would apply to the studio, the producer would go through their LinkedIn to see what posts they liked, and if he disagreed with their political/social Like, he'd advocate not to hire them based on their Like."
ITS TRUE. EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN SAYING. ITS ALL TRUE.

Okay, so if I write "Programming PS1 Games" book, it's going to look something like this...
What would be a fair price for it?

All the Junipers and Liliths at Bethesda are getting laid off because no one has the passion to do LSD and mushrooms to write Elder Scrolls lore anymore.

This is a debunked meme that Michael Kirkbride himself has said wasn't true.
Kirkbride described his actual creative process as “It was one dev, naked in a room with a carton of cigarettes, a thermos full of coffee and bourbon, and all his summoned angels,” not LSD or shrooms

Maybe in another Universe I'll get to play 2010 Halo 3 with bro one more time.
Magic Knight Rayearth on Saturn is full of that old-school JRPG charm, with a lovely 2D and a ton of humour. Directed by the legend Rieko Kodama!
Gameplay is kinda close to Zelda but let you switch on the fly between the 3 magical girls, each has her own weapon and powers.
