The exchange with Sovereign blew my 14 year old mind. In under 4 minutes it completely recontextualized the story up to that point. To this day I will never skip a line of the exchange during a playthrough.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

IDK, it seems like certain pollsters are concerned their samples are too D, maybe for good reasons and maybe not, and are using their likely voter models to curb that.

I bet a tonn of people are going to freak out, but you are going to get a few ties between Paxton and Talarico in an environment where Talarico is up by about 3 on average. I mean, we literally just got a poll sponsored by Cook that has Talarico up 5.

They are really, really, *really* trying to drive a wedge between AES and the black community. It isn't just this, Rogers is trying to court Black voters. I don't think it'll work, if only because Black voters, like most other voters, hate Trump and the economy.

I don't know if the Libertarians will end up getting such large shares of the vote in Iowa and Ohio, but I could see a lot of Cornyn voters filling in the bubble for Ted Brown.
Cook Political Report just released 3 polls: —Iowa: GOV: Sand up 53/43 SEN: Turek up 46-44, with Libertarian at 8 —Ohio GOV: Acton up 48/43 SEN: Brown up 49/43, with two others at 7 —Texas GOV: Abbott up 48/46 SEN: Talarico up 49/44, with Libertarian at 4

Just hammer Rogers' support for Trump's tariffs and the Iran War and don't let him run from it. That's how AES wins this election.
We will be LIVE tonight covering the FINAL debate between Abdul El-Sayed and Mike Rogers, join us on YouTube or Twitch at 6:30PM ET!

Nothing about what he'll do in Congress, nothing about prices, nothing about corruption. Just pure Islamophobia.
Abdul El-Sayed’s radical ideology is a threat to our national security.

Okay, so the LV screen for the Marist poll was only D+1, I think that's just not blue enough (the electorate was D+7 in 2018). What is crazy is that he still holds a 7 point lead among RVs when that sample is D+3.

I get the race would tighten, it makes sense, but I wonder why there is such a massive gap between RVs and LVs. Regardless, throw it in the average and move on.

I would have thought Benson would be doing much better. It is interesting that she's only doing one point better in terms of the percentage of the vote than AES.

Wow, much closer than I thought. Look forward to seeing what the sample was, and to see if AES still anywhere close to that sizable lead among RVs he had in their last poll. xitter.cf/ElliscbIV/status/21127…

She's right to be pissed, and she's right that campaign finance needs to be fixed.
As one of the candidates featured in these polls - the infamous one in late June that showed me plummeting into single digits (which was at odds with our internals) - here's the impact of this "experiment" - Donations dried up - Volunteers were devastated and pleading for guidance on what to do - Reporters hounded me with calls to drop out Sure, a point was proven. Polling is broken. But tens of thousands of people poured their hearts, time, energy, hard-earned money into something they believed in - for a year-and-a-half, and it was treated like a game. Our volunteers gave their all. And then some. I felt like I had let so many of them down. To be extremely clear, Michigan Democrats are locked in to beat Mike Rogers. We WILL send @AbdulElSayed to the US Senate. But between crap like this, endless fundraising texts that drive supporters away with spammy fake deadlines and trash "match" claims, scam PACs run rampant for firms to grift without actually supporting candidates, undisclosed content creators pushing content out either misrepresenting themselves as residents of states they don't live in or hiding whether they were paid and by who so they could make a buck, and the tidal wave of dark money ads -- I hope Democrats are ready to blow up the system with campaign finance and transparency reforms. Trust is already at an all-time low. We don't get out of this mess without rebuilding trust. And media - who loves to ride the drama of a pollercoaster - needs to take a hard look at what's legitimate and what's not. If this teaches us anything - DON'T GET COMPLACENT AND DON'T TRUST THE POLLS. LOCK IN. SIGN UP FOR A CANVASSING SHIFT. LEAVE NOTHING TO CHANCE OVER THE NEXT TWO WEEKS.
