Today, we are launching Walkie One. It is the world’s first AI walkie-talkie.
We built it because we wanted a screenless way to interact with technology.
Until recently, that wasn’t really possible in a useful way, but that has changed in the past few months with the latest AI models.
Walkie One connects to the AI assistant of your choice. Once connected, you can use the Walkie One to message your assistant anytime, tapping into the capabilities of your connected AI.
Hit your Claude Code limit? Keep going.
Claude Code Local v1.0. Type exit, then keep going, and the same conversation carries on with a model on your own computer. No API key.

Most of the work went into the tool call parser. Gemma 4 lost its number arguments, two Read calls became one, a screenshot pushed a 32 GB Mac into swap. All fixed. Honest part: a local model is not Opus, and small Macs want one step at a time.
Free and open source, MIT.

Fable 5.5 its over for video and image models 🤯
THIS IS PURE CODE
one shotted this video holy shit , how this is more beautiful than ai video models
Two ways to check this yourself:
Ask: “Where did @karpathy go in 2026?” with web search and memory turned off. Only the new Fable knows the answer. Then give it the prompt.
Run the same prompt I used for the test (it’s in the screenshot) and see for yourself.
Don’t rely on Grok for basic reasoning like this. Grok doesn’t have up-to-date knowledge of niche stuff. Either join the community or run the test yourself.
Also, a knowledge cutoff doesn’t mean a model knows everything before that date. Sometimes a model doesn’t know about an event even if it happened before its cutoff. This test shows that too.
Run the same prompt on regular Opus 5.5 and the quality drops. On Fable 5.1 it’s worse.
THE LAST SIGNAL. My first sci fi trailer, made 100% local on a MacBook Pro, M5 Max, 128GB unified memory.
Every frame, voice and sound generated on device. No cloud, no API calls, no subscriptions.
The whole pipeline 🧵
Sound: MMAudio effects generated from the clips themselves, our own numpy sub bass, ChatterBox voices, ACE-Step score, and our own 5.1 panner (E-AC3 5.1 plus stereo).
Grade: our own LUTs, bloom, grain, 2.39:1.
QC: a local vision model checked the finished cut, 51 of 53 passed (the 2 flags are the monster).
Clock: story locked ~2 AM, ready 5:38 PM, ~2 hrs of that were stalls.
Every script is open: github.com/nicedreamzapp/sto…
i did this thing today ,,, mac studio m5 ultra 512gb .. stay tuned for non stop updates they say 13-17wks for delivery, seems to always come early
Every free AI model in my setup failed for two days. Turns out my own freeze timer was killing them mid thought. Fixed it, measured each one directly, and MiniMax went on to spend six hours fixing my game's choppy body tracking. nicedreamzwholesale.com/2026…
I was on the Blind Android Users podcast, Episode 307, talking about RealTime AI Cam. It's a free, open source app that tells you what your camera sees, all on the phone, no signal needed. Had a great time talking with Warren.

Founder to founder.
• Know the difference between new failure and repeat failure. New failure is learning. Repeat failure is ignoring.
• Celebrate new mistakes. They mean you're trying new things.
• Fix the repeat ones fast. Same mistake twice is a pattern asking for change.
• Write down what went wrong. Memory edits. Paper doesn't.
• Change one thing before the next attempt. Same input, same output.
• Stop beating yourself up. Shame repeats. Curiosity fixes.
Fail forward. Not in circles.
My AI agents kept reloading the page right after I solved the captcha for them. So I built a broker that lets agents share my real logged-in browser with me: one tab per job, look before every step, never reload a tab I'm working in. Open source: github.com/nicedreamzapp/bro…

Data on 35,000+ adults: the more cannabis you’ve used in life, the bigger your hippocampus and the better your brain works after 40!
People who had ever used cannabis tended to have larger brain volume in key areas that are full of natural cannabis-like receptors (especially the hippocampus, amygdala, caudate, and putamen – these areas are important for memory, emotions, learning, and movement).
The more cannabis someone had used in their lifetime, the larger these brain areas were and the better they performed on tests of learning, processing speed, and short-term memory.

Apple says you need a Mac to build iPhone apps.
Today I built one on Omarchy Linux, submitted it to the App Store, installed it on my iPhone over USB, and stopped it at a breakpoint in the debugger.
No Mac anywhere.
It's all open source:
