Two friends. Two young officers. One battle that would become a legend. Bogdan Jugović Heinz was born in 1882, the son of a Polish military doctor who had found a new home in Serbia. Orphaned at an early age, Bogdan grew up to become an outstanding young officer. Before leaving for the mountains of Ottoman-occupied Old Serbia, he wrote his will, leaving his entire estate to the Serbian Chetnik movement. He was 23 years old. His closest brother in arms was Branivoje Jovanović, known as Vojvoda Brana. Brana had attended the Military Academy in Belgrade alongside Bogdan and Voja Tankosić. He was only 22, but had already distinguished himself in battle . Brave, charismatic, and beloved by the local population, he had earned the title of vojvoda. (guerrilla commander) Then came May 30, 1905. Thirty Serbian fighters had taken shelter in the village. By morning, the village was surrounded. The Ottoman force reportedly included two battalions of infantry, 150 cavalrymen, 50 gendarmes, and three artillery pieces. Brana's men were attacked first. Hearing the gunfire several kilometers away, Bogdan immediately gathered his detachment and rushed to his friend's aid. The two groups joined forces behind stone walls surrounding several village houses. The Jihadists attacked repeatedly. The defenders opened fire, bringing down soldiers and officers. An Ottoman commander leading an assault on horseback was shot dead. Then came the artillery. One shell overshot the defenders and struck Ottoman troops on the opposite side. Another tore through the stone wall. The Serbian fighters retreated into the houses and continued firing. Hours passed. Ammunition ran low. The dead and wounded piled up. Unable to break the defenders' resistance, Ottoman troops began setting fire to the buildings. Bogdan was killed during an attempted withdrawal into another house. Brana continued commanding the surviving fighters. By evening, the battle was nearly over. The roof was burning. Flaming beams were falling around the remaining defenders. An Ottoman officer spotted Brana and shouted for his surrender. “Surrender, officer!” “Here's your surrender!” Brana answered, firing his rifle. The officer fell. With no way out, Brana's final moments became the stuff of legend. He began singing about freedom, then threw himself into the flames rather than surrender. According to one detailed account, the Ottomans suffered two officers and approximately fifty soldiers killed, with more than seventy wounded. Almost the entire Serbian detachment was destroyed. But one fighter, Radivoje Ilić, escaped from a burning house. He fought his way through the cordon before disappearing into the countryside. He survived to tell the story. The remains of Bogdan, Brana, and their comrades were buried near the village church. Their deaths inspired songs, memorials, and eventually an entire theatrical play. Two friends who entered the Military Academy together in 1899. Six years later, both were dead. One was 22. The other was 23. Vojvoda Bogdan and Vojvoda Brana. Remember their names. ☦️🫡
Belgrade, 1903. A doctor, a millionaire, a lawyer, and a general. They weren't planning to open a hospital, start a business, or enter politics. They were organizing a guerrilla movement. The Chetniks were not new. For generations, Serbian hajduks, rebels, and armed bands had fought against Jihadist rule. But times were changing, and so was the way these men fought. In 1903, a new organization began taking shape in Belgrade, bringing together secret committees, wealthy financiers, experienced military officers, and networks of volunteers. Their mission was to send small, carefully selected armed detachments into Ottoman controlled Old Serbia, particularly Kosovo and Macedonia. These weren't ordinary recruits. They were chosen for their courage, discipline, loyalty, and ability to operate in secrecy. They knew they were being sent on missions from which they might never return. And if they were captured, their chances of surviving were slim. Think of them as the Delta Force of their time. Small groups of determined men crossing hostile territory, operating behind enemy lines, often surrounded by enemies but with little hope of rescue. Behind this organization stood Dr. Milorad Gođevac, millionaire Luka Ćelović, lawyer Vasa Jovanović, General Jovan Atanacković, and other organizers. Notice how they didn't sit around waiting for the government to solve their problems? They took matters into their own hands and invested their own money. Luka Ćelović alone contributed a fortune. They didn't wait for 'institutions' to do the work. They barely had any institutions to rely on. In 1904, one of the first detachments crossed the Ottoman border. Not a single man returned alive. And this was only the beginning.

Can you name just one time when NATO attacked another country? We know plenty about Russia, but what about NATO? Just ONE, COME ON...

This is not the first time that Albanians desecrated the statues of the Serb heros and famous people, back in 1999 the same happened with the statuse of Njegos and Vuk Karadžić. This is very shameless.

The continued harassment of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija has got to stop @SecRubio @SpeakerJohnson @POTUS enough already.

The 1975 flowers-and-cheers-for-Tito footage was Yugoslav propaganda. It hid the Nov 1968 Albanian student protests (and earlier ones in Prizren/Peja) demanding a Kosovo republic, university, constitution, flag and self-determination. Led by Osman Dumoshi’s group, they ended in clashes: 17-year-old Murat Mehmeti killed, dozens injured or arrested, army deployed. No republic followed, but the University of Pristina opened 1969–70 and Albanians gained more control after Ranković fell. That shift brought job, police and court bias against Serbs and Montenegrins, intimidation, and a surge in their emigration from the late 1960s. Roma were already marginalized; they were not the 1968 target—their worst violence came later.

🇷🇸 🇺🇳 Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić at the UN General Assembly: “All the countries that recognized the unilateral independence of so-called Kosovo and tried to take away 14% of the territory of the Republic of Serbia took part in trampling on the UN Charter and undermining the foundations of international law. Today, they want to return to those very principles, now that they see the more powerful resorting to the same violations they committed when they were the strongest.”
Serbia's President Aleksandar Vučić: Do you know, esteemed friends, what was in fact the reason, the sole official and formal reason for the attack on the territory of the Republic of Serbia and the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia carried out by 19 NATO countries? You will not believe it. They told us that they had attacked a sovereign, free, and independent country in order to prevent a potential humanitarian disaster. The humanitarian disaster did not occur, and I have still not managed to hear or see where a similar example has happened anywhere in the world.

What's really interesting about this post by Zelensky is that he listed all the systems that have been used in this mass attack on Moscow. Some of these are assembled domestically, but others are made in various European countries, such as Denmark, Germany, and Lithuania. On the orders from his handlers, Zelensky is megaphoning to Russia which countries were involved in this attack. The same handlers have spent the whole week telling the world through the media and various paid actors that Russia has plans to escalate the conflict on the European territory. Are you connecting the dots yet?
For a whole week, we've been hearing how Putin has made a decision to escalate, and is about to directly attack European countries from various European ghouls and random commentators on X. But then, all of a sudden, Ukraine blows a load and flings 1600 drones at Moscow in a single night, managing to hit a refinery, a power station, a warehouse complex and a bunch of civilian apartments and private houses, killing 2 and injuring 20, including 2 children. This whole week, a concerted media campaign was preparing the Western public for a response from Moscow to this unprecedented attack, which in reality has achieved very little, given the amount of drones that have been used. Which means, that this attack was orchestrated and coordinated by the US and their European vassals. As the "Moscow is on fire day" being celebrated by the Ukrainian government, prepare to hear a lot of "unprovoked" and "brutal" squealing when the retaliation to this attack does come, because quite obviously this was another provocation from NATO. At the end of the day, this was a Russian air defence forces feat. 1600 drones with little to no military targets hit. Unfortunately some people died and some civilian homes got destroyed, but that's nothing new. If AFU was down to their last missile, they would target the largest civilian population center in Russia they could find. Ukraine is a terrorist state.

I’ve been walking around Novi Sad, Serbia, for about an hour. It is very nice to walk through a European city and actually feel like you are in Europe. The simple fact of not allowing third world migrants who don’t assimilate into the country changes the entire atmosphere.
