Anaphalis triplinervis ‘Sommerschnee’ one of my new favourite plants lovely silvery foliage on a small clump forming mound. Papery white everlasting type flowers in petite clusters all over it. Flowers July to August easy to propagate by either division or cuttings.
This has happened a few times this week assuming they are checking out potential nesting sites for next year? 2 have started making a nest under the purling there now lovely to see so many!

My mum’s book group read @DrMichaelMosley’s Just One Thing recently and one of them produced this summary of his brilliant, sensible, achievable advice (that we could all benefit from following!) #MichaelMosley #RIPMichaelMosley
@JuddNigel @NeilAlcock @plantagogo @RobsAllotment @PictonGarden @Zazgl @jackwallington @PlantippPeter any ideas what this plant is? Bristly leaves like a borage but huge leaves!!

Quite extraordinary (as good as #TheAssembly and @michaelsheen are) that instead of a popular actor, last year the President of France took part in the very same format and did so with genuine class.
Almost impossible to imagine Sunak looking as comfortable as Macron does here…
I think #TheAssembly on @BBCOne might be the best innovation in interviewing since Desert Island Discs. A group of 35 neurodivergent or learning disabled people get to ask a celebrity anything they want. Michael Sheen is a brave man.

Your kindness can kill a bumblebee 💔
📢 Please share! Bumblebee queens are starting to emerge from hibernation. British weather isn’t always ideal and people with the best intentions can cause more harm good. Let’s change that.

First foray into installing a pond Leo worked incredibly hard digging it by hand- the owners are purchasing plants for the pond and margins

I don’t need diamonds, fancy cars, holidays or lots of £ ( ok a bit more £ would be helpful🤣) give me a bag full of free cuttings and I’m a happy bunny ❤️ #iris #stachys #leucanthemum #kniphofia
