Historical photo: Even when Col. B.S Dimka was being tied to a stake, he continued to smile. One wonders what thoughts filled his mind at this moment as he faced the fïring squad on 15 May 1976 at Kirikiri Prison in Lagos, Nigeria. Dimka was the leader of the failed cøup attempt of 13 February 1976, during which Nigeria’s Head of State, General Murtala Muhammed, was kïlled. Dimka was exēcüted alongside six other convïcted cøup plotters during the military government of Lieutenant General Olusegun Obasanjo. - Ethnic African Stories

A mother looks into her children’s eyes and promises to eat their souls. The worst part is that she still looks like their mother. Beth visits her sister Ellie, who is raising three children alone in a rundown Los Angeles apartment building. Their reunion is already complicated, but nothing prepares them for what happens when an earthquake reveals a hidden chamber beneath the building. Inside lies an ancient book and a recording that should never have been played. Soon, Ellie begins acting strangely. Her voice changes, her body twists, and the loving mother her children know becomes something terrifying. At first, they hope she can still be saved. But whatever has taken control of Ellie knows exactly how to use their love against them. Trapped inside the building, Beth and the children must survive a nightmare where every familiar face could be hiding something evil. And the closer Ellie gets to them, the harder it becomes to remember that the monster hunting them is also the woman they love. Beth has never been prepared to raise children, let alone protect them from their own mother. But when escape becomes almost impossible, she discovers that survival may demand a kind of courage she never knew she had. The most horrifying part is not that evil has entered their home. It is that it has chosen the face of someone they cannot bear to lose. Evil Dead Rise (2023)

The biggest challenge facing the X-Men in the MCU is not introducing mutants. It is explaining why their existence changes everything. Mutants are not simply another group of superheroes. Their powers are part of who they are, and their presence creates fear, prejudice, and political conflict even when they are trying to help people. If Marvel introduces them as another team waiting to join the Avengers, it risks losing the central conflict that makes the X-Men different. I want a world where the public can celebrate an Avenger for saving a city while treating a mutant child as a threat for being born different. That contradiction is where the real X-Men story begins.

When Claire finally confronted Daniel about the house, he denied everything. She came to me crying, convinced he was planning to abandon her. I could have told her the truth about the money I'd accepted. Instead, I showed her a message from Daniel's business partner suggesting Daniel had been meeting another woman. The message was real, but I left out the context. The woman was a lawyer helping Daniel negotiate the sale because the business was in financial trouble. Claire confronted Daniel, accused him of cheating, and demanded a divorce. He moved out that night. For weeks, I watched my sister fall apart. I kept telling myself Daniel deserved it for hiding the house sale. Then his business partner called me again. He wanted the rest of his money back. I asked why. His answer made my stomach turn.

🎬The Invisible Man (2020) The Invisible Man (2020) is one of those movies that makes you feel uncomfortable even when nothing is happening on screen. Cecilia thinks she has finally escaped an abusive relationship, but instead of finding peace, she starts feeling like she is still being watched. What makes this story work so well for me is how it turns an ordinary house into a place where you never feel safe. Empty rooms, quiet hallways, and little movements suddenly become terrifying. I kept thinking about how exhausting it must be to live in constant fear, never knowing whether the danger is real or whether anyone will believe you.

The first people to figure out what a new technology can really do aren’t always scientists or entrepreneurs. Sometimes, it’s criminals, scammers, gamblers, and people operating on the fringes of society. And there’s a reason for that.

My wife almost stopped being intimate with me because I kept pointing out a smell. I never realized I was teaching her to be ashamed of her own body. When I met my wife, I was working long hours as a sales supervisor and sending half my salary home to help my parents. She was a calm, funny nurse who made the stress of my life feel lighter. A year later we were engaged, and soon after, married. Early on, everything was easy. But I noticed something I couldn't ignore: after intimacy, I felt an urgent need to shower. Then one night I noticed an unusual smell from her intimate area. I told myself to let it go, but I couldn't. ......

In the unforgiving world of high stakes heists, where one wrong alliance can unravel everything and millions hang in the balance, a single woman steps forward with a plan that is as precise as it is audacious. Trust is not an asset here it is a liability, a weakness that others will exploit the moment it appears. Every conversation carries hidden motives, every gesture is calculated, and every move must be executed with perfect timing if the ultimate score is to be reached. What makes the story compelling is not simply the scale of the money, but the clarity of purpose behind it. She moves through environments that demand both invisibility and absolute control handling cash, navigating institutional spaces, and managing the people who could expose her at any moment. The tension builds not from chaos alone, but from the constant pressure of staying one step ahead while the ground beneath her shifts. This is the kind of narrative that rewards close attention. It asks whether skill, nerve, and preparation can outweigh the risks when the system itself is designed to detect and dismantle exactly this kind of ambition. The question lingers long after the final frame: when trust becomes the most dangerous element in the room, can one carefully constructed plan still succeed? It is the rare heist story that feels both intimate and monumental worth watching for the strategy as much as the stakes.
One woman. One bold plan. Millions on the line. In a game where trust is dangerous and every move counts, can she pull off the ultimate heist?

Diego was four when he started telling me about the other mommy. “She sings better than you,” he said at breakfast, pushing cereal around his bowl. I laughed. That year I laughed at everything, because the alternative was crying. My husband Rafael was on night shifts, and I was alone with Diego from dusk until dawn, running on four hours of broken sleep and coffee that no longer did anything. “Where does she sing?” “At night. When you’re standing in the hall.” I don’t sleepwalk. I woke every morning in my own bed, sheets tucked tight, slippers lined up neatly at the foot. I told Diego it was a dream, and he shrugged in the way kids do when adults are being slow.
