Literally nobody is excited. Huge fall here going from ESPN and Athletic to BetUS. Better turn off comments section. She will get buried in them every week if you don’t.
Something big is arriving on November 11. 👀 Who do you think it is? 🔎 Only on BetUS. 🔥 Get the first look: bit.ly/BetUSTVMainX

Why has CFB given ESPN so much power? We need less bowls anyway. There should not be 5-7 or 6-6 teams in bowls. Should only be about 30 bowls anyway.
NEW: If teams w/5-7 records are needed to fill bowls, the bowl’s conference will choose replacement & choice will not be based on highest APR scores, sources told @On3. If an ESPN bowl is selecting from pool of G6 teams, ESPN chooses the team to fill the vacancy, source said

She is paid to be a reporter and suppose to know that stuff. It is embarrassing that we have media who don’t know who is on IR. I don’t believe in belittling a reporter but how can fans take their work seriously if they doesn’t know that type of stuff?
The internet is such a cruel place. She made a mistake and probably feels embarrassed. No need to make the situation worse.

Told people she would come back. This will be interesting. I’ll bet she turns off comments when she posts.

This is sad. Tim was a good man. A true staple in the southeast region. RIP, Tim.
We've learned that former #Jaguars scouting executive Tim Mingey passed away this morning. Mingey was with the team from its start through the 2019 draft. We'll have comments from several of his counterparts in scouting in tomorrow's Friday Wrap. Register here: lp.constantcontactpages.com/…

I am hearing crazy stuff out of the Hula Bowl. Any scout who does business with Nick Logan is going to get screwed. This guy is the biggest crook in all star history and that is a high bar.

I mention that info on special teams because that is what a good scout should be doing. Look at special teams. You can see speed, toughness, heart, and so many other traits that will translate to being a good player.

If you want tough, gritty, smart, and athletic players you see it in those who rise above on special teams.

I hope rookies and upcoming draft eligible players realize how important special teams are to value. I have been noticing freshmen who standout and you can see traits on players who rise above on special teams. Those players are on my radar and no coach had to give the name.

The Terrell Davis story happens often, not to same level but in impact on rosters. I remember in my early years seeing a 6’4 DL freshman on special teams and calling him a head hunter. He wasn’t on radar entering senior year due to sitting out prior year. He was on my list.

He was a UDFA who played a decade in the NFL and showed same traits on special teams in NFL that he did in college.

They are buying influence with politicians and sports commissioners and TV execs big time. We need more players and coaches speak to out like this.
Saw @jon_wertheim say this and I agree—the craziest thing here is David Braun needing to say, “I might get myself in trouble here.” As if offending the casinos is a concern with the message he’s trying to send. How backwards is that? (Good for Braun for saying this.)

Sometimes a player needs to transfer but players who transfer several times might think they can leave problems behind but we are finding out. There are players who have been good at current stop but previous behavior at other stops is going to hurt their stock.

Very well done by him. He made a good move to feed her ego a little bit as well with the comment about needing her to do more games. Coaches and players do this from time to time. That comment made her night. I wonder if it was his idea or PR told him to do something like it.
Well done all around by Texas QB Arch Manning.

I don’t think anyone feels sorry for that in this era. There was reason to before NIL and the portal but with all this money involved players have to produce or be cut.
Next thing we are going to hear is these college football players announcing they don’t negotiate during the season. This is college football now. WTF! Then no one should ever feel sorry for any player who gets cut for shitty play!

I’m going to give free advice to him. Enter the portal and go somewhere with a good QB coach. He needs another year and Texas is not a good fit for him. They will be able to upgrade to someone who better fits them as well.
Several NFL executives expressed skepticism this week that some, if not a majority, of the projected top QBs will even enter the 2027 NFL Draft. That includes Arch Manning, whom NFL scouts have seen less of since Texas closed practice. More in The Sweep: tompelissero.substack.com/p/…

Maybe he is happy there. Maybe he did look around and still wanted to stay. Can you prove he didn’t already look around? Money can’t always buy happiness. If he thinks staying is best for him then that is all the matters. Just congratulate him and move on. It is his life.
Whoever is representing Jesse Legree may have cost this young man A LOT of money. A true freshman leading the nation with 1,040 receiving yards has tremendous market value. At minimum, explore your options and understand your worth before committing. Loyalty is great, but potentially passing up generational money without testing your value is bad business. #4thAndFacts

I think Texas is wishing for this more like it. They want him to declare so they can get better results for far less money.
NFL Execs want Arch Manning NOW, and see him as a for-sure first-round talent🐂 When asked if they want Arch to stay another year or declare this offseason, an exec told @CodyCarpentier: “The sooner the better. I want those traits in my building, today.” Read👇 orangebloods.com/2026/10/22/…

It is no shock. Their owners and GM are cheap as crap. They cut corners just to save money.
This is one of the dumbest things I’ve ever seen. Every NFL plane ride is pure card games, movie watching, and guys hanging out. Thinking that “they’ll sleep overnight” on the plane is so stupid. The Saints are already in Paris getting acclimated. I hate poorly ran organizations.
