Let's say you had the chance to launch a token on @RebateLaunch today. What would you actually build?
I'd be curious to see someone launch around a genuinely active niche community rather than another token that exists only because people want to trade it for five minutes.
It could be a meme built around a specific internet culture, a community token for a group with a shared identity, or something that gives a small but committed audience a reason to keep showing up.
Rebate Pad gives launchers a defined structure to work with. Each launch has a fixed supply, and its bonus, payout and fee rates are locked at creation. Buyers can receive bonus tokens, while holders can receive payouts in the token's pair asset according to the launch's rules.
That gives a creator something concrete to explain to their community from day one.
But the mechanics alone won't build a successful token. People still need a reason to participate, trading activity needs to be real, and holders need to understand the risks. Rewards that depend on trading volume can shrink when activity slows.
That's why I'd focus on the community first and the token mechanics second.

I was returning from another city when I noticed a young woman crying alone at the airport.
I was about to walk past her when I heard her whisper, “Five years… and this is how he treats me?”
I stopped.
Me: “Excuse me, are you okay?”
She quickly wiped her face.
Woman: “I’m fine. Please, just leave me alone.”
I nodded and started walking away. But something about how helpless she looked made me turn back.
Me: “I’m sorry for disturbing you. I just wanted to make sure you’re safe.”
She looked up at me, her eyes filled with tears.
Woman: “My boyfriend just ended our relationship. Five years together, and he threw me out like I meant nothing.”
Me: “Five years? What happened?”
She hesitated before answering.
Woman: “He said if I truly loved him, I would prove it by sleeping with him.”
I frowned.
Me: “You mean you’ve been together for five years, and he’s ending things because you don’t want to have sex?”
She nodded.
Woman: “He kept saying I was making him look foolish. He even brought other women to his house and slept with them in front of me, as if he wanted to teach me what I was refusing to do.”
I couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Me: “And you stayed with him through all that?”
Woman: “I loved him. I kept hoping he would understand that I wasn’t ready. I thought five years meant something to him.”
She covered her face and began crying again.
I pulled a chair closer but left enough space between us.
Me: “You don’t have to prove your love by doing something you’re not comfortable with.”
She looked at me and whispered, “Then why did he make me feel like I was the problem?”
I had no easy answer.
But I knew I couldn’t simply walk away and leave her crying there.

A few years ago, I had to fly back to Tunisia from the UAE at short notice after a medical operation.
My company had already paid for business-class tickets, but because I needed to change my flight at the last minute, the only available option was first class.
I paid the extra and honestly loved the experience.
For my return flight, I realised I had enough frequent flyer points to upgrade my business-class ticket to first class, so I decided to give it another try.

When I was appointed Director, Consumer Protection and Public Affairs at the NCAA, I vowed to do the job, not just to the best of my abilities, but over and beyond. I wanted to be one of the bright spots of this administration in order to repay the good faith and belief shown me by Mr. President, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and my Honourable Minister, Olorogun Festus Keyamo SAN.
Since then, I have worked tirelessly and sleeplessly to protect the rights of air passengers, airlines, other stakeholders, and to project the image of the NCAA. I daresay that, so far, we have done a great job.

I slept with my best friend’s husband after knowing him for nearly 20 years. The next morning, his wife texted me to ask if I was feeling better…

Let’s call them Daniel and Sarah. They had been married for years, had two children, and I was practically part of their family. Sarah trusted me completely.
A few weeks ago, Daniel offered to drive me home after a night out with friends. Sarah couldn’t come because one of their children was unwell.
I’d had too much to drink, and Daniel stayed behind to make sure I was okay.
Somewhere between sitting on my couch and getting ready for bed, things crossed a line they never should have.
I woke up the next morning with fragments of the night coming back to me. Daniel had already left.
Then Sarah messaged me, thanking him for looking after me.
She had no idea what had happened.
I couldn’t bring myself to reply normally. I spent the entire day feeling sick with guilt.
