Looks awesome. Hoping for an eventual digital release option for NeoSD 🤞
YMMV depending on whether it ships to you in a functional state and without damage (should not be assumed, sadly) and what device you're using with it (compatibility is questionable). Also, don't expect to receive anything resembling quality support. Expect issues to drag on.
Stay far, far away from Unico.
I took a gamble on their Nova Blast cabinet and experienced significant delays, a damaged product, poor compatibility, terrible communication, and borderline-incompetent support.
Also watch out for their shills on social media.
Unico is back with more borderline snake oil.
This time with their Traveller 10 inch PVM inspired monitor.
Absolutely nowhere in the Kickstarter (that I can find) do they give ANY details or specs of anything. And literally if you look that Kickstarter listing up and down it states the same handful of things multiple times and has a boatload of images and animated gifs. It's a candy coated hollow shell of information. Zero value. No scaler details, no panel specs...nothing.
Upon first glance you might be tempted to think it uses the 10 inch iPad Retina display like many of the enthusiast 10 inch monitors use. I don't think that's the case as I saw a comment in a YT video absolutely panning the unit stating that Unico said it was 1280x960. And the reviewer was having issues with even that as WIndows wanted to treat it as 1080p 30fps panel - lol.
After my experience with their Phoenix 26 inch monitor: Hard pass. 👎
Save your money.

A year later, I wanted to see if I could complete the recommended path in Paprium's Original mode using the Mega EverDrive Pro w/latest firmware. Recurring game-breaking bug happens in the Golden of Seas level. You can hear a character trying to be placed on screen but it never appears, preventing progression. Strangely, I encounter fewer game-breaking bugs using MEDP and the Mega Sg than I do with original hardware.
I'd still recommend avoiding this method to play the game until more bugs are ironed out.

Sounds like support is on the way, I'm not sure that I'll ever use the disc drive. I got the SuperDock for the other features.
Got some accessories in. Installing the coin battery was easy. Pushing the M2 rubber screw through the hole was a bit of a challenge. Definitely should be good to go for storage. I've read that the 990 EVO Plus runs somewhat cool without a heatsink.
Received the @TakiUdon_ SuperStation One yesterday. This is my first MiSTer device of any kind. Excited to jump into it and hoping the learning curve isn't as bad as I've heard. This thing was super well packaged and is very well made.

I had a healthy collection of carts from growing up, but the NES Classic reignited my love for classic gaming in 2016. Ended up getting an Analogue Nt Mini in early 2017 and expanded my collection of NES/FC/FDS games to 200+

It's pretty easy to get the game to boot into Arcade Paprium using the stick, but there's no way to artificially insert a coin. I've tried varying combinations of dip switches to no avail. Somewhere I saw that you have to wire a coin mechanism to the stick to actually play.

1,042 days since money was accepted for pre-orders. 251 days since their last update.
If they surpass 1,360 days, they'll have taken longer than Paprium (technically)

Well, for my setup I'm using a mix of FPGA equivalents and heavily modified original consoles, so everything is either HDMI or component. Everything goes into either a component switch or HDMI switch, then into an upscaler, then into the TV.

It's... not pretty. I tried to manage this mess a couple of times and gave up.

The speakers I have with the Sony CRT are Polk Audio T15 bookshelf speakers.
The other speakers are part of the vintage Yamaha YHT-15 surround system that I got in the late '90s.

It's a fascinating saga, for sure. But the game itself is incredible, and often gets overshadowed and dismissed because of the deserved negativity surrounding its release (or general lack thereof). Hopefully Fonzie and crew can pull through. It's a travesty more people can't play
