Happy AHP day to all my fellow AHPs. Today I am celebrating the AHP front door team GRI who have gone from strength to strength, continuously providing quality care and admission avoidance in the ED. Proud as punch! @SaVallely @Amackinnon25 @OTamyruddy @GRI_ED @ashleighi_
So spoiled by my lovely colleagues today. A strange feeling leaving tonight but on to a new exciting adventure 🥹

An exciting post in a fantastic, supportive & flexible team. Great opportunity for someone looking to challenge/enhance their current acute assessment skills. A wonderful opportunity for OTs to contribute to a current & developing area of practice
An absolutely excellent team to be a part of with lots of exciting opportunities and things happening. Come and join us at Front Door Team 🙌🏻
Come and join our AHP front door team at GRI. We have a great opportunity for a physiotherapist to join us, supporting admission avoidance in our emergency department. @LeiperAlison @GRI_ED @HazelMcNaughton @ashleighi_

After a negative yesterday a.m (day 9) & providing I had another this a.m, I was hopeful to be able to end isolation today. No such luck as strangely showing positive again this morning. Absolutely no difference to the way I took these tests. Thankfully just another day! #FEDUP
Another tough year for the NHS. I’m very grateful to work in such a fab team. Proud of us & all of the wider AHP teams. Finishing the last shift of 2021 reflecting on a personal highlight of the year. Onwards & (hopefully) upwards to 2022. HNY when it comes🎊 #NewProfilePic

At the end of a busy week we want to recognise our wonderful OT’s as part of OT week. They make a huge difference to the patients they see every single day. Thank you 😊#OTweek #thankyouall

My 87 y/o G’ma has been coming to Islay for 50+ years & every year she tells herself it’ll be her last because she “just can’t do it anymore”. She struggles with ‘getting old’ & puts herself down for not being as able anymore. Today we got her here and it was wonderful🏴💙 – at Port Charlotte, Scotland
Proud moment🤩Check out June’s issue of @OTnews to read about the success & impact Occupational Therapy are having at Glasgow Royal Infirmary within Front Door Team. It’s fantastic to share our work & on the front page as well😍@NHSGGCOTS @NHSGGC @NHSGGCnorthAHP @GRI_ED @theRCOT

This week I had my first experience of interviewing. I’m absolutely exhausted after 3 consecutive days but feeling very grateful for the opportunity. It was a very interesting, insightful & challenging but rewarding experience.
For many it would be their first role as a new graduate & even with over a year of cancelled/postponed/adapted/virtual placements during very tough times, it was fantastic to hear such enthusiasm to join @NHSGGC @NHSGGCOTS & start their careers! #ValueofOT #OccupationalTherapy 💚
Happy International Nurses Day to all nurses out there!! Front Door AHP Team at GRI are very grateful to work with such a great team of Nurses in ED, AAU & MRU. Thank you for all that you do - you are all amazing 🤩⭐️ @GRI_ED @NHSGGCnorthAHP

48,165 vaccinations in 🏴 yesterday! Another record high. 99% (!) of older care home residents now vaccinated with first dose. And 92%+ of over 80s - extraordinary uptake. Teams now working through 70-79 yr olds & those clinically vulnerable, & starting on over 65s. 🙏 to all!
