God has been so good to me, this I cannot deny. Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude as my examiners found me worthy of the degree and the title. It’s officially Dr. Timilehin I. Okunola (MBChB, Ife) now.

Morgan Freeman was not wrong when he said, 'Become a man who can face a breakup, lose a job, deal with debt, and still say, "God is with me; I’ll figure it out."'

I'll really like to know where this guy is schooling 😂😂😭😭 Na proper comedian.😂😂
She studied medicine and surgery and was the best graduating student in her school. Today, she's entering okada to work as a doctor. I'm sure the dullards in her class from secondary school will be laughing at her. When I was advising donye to turn his prowess to a paid system she called me an idiot. This will be him in a few years. The economic reality of practicing as a doctor will sabotage everyone, both the doctor with ten distinctions and the one with ten resits. If you refuse to learn how to monetize your advantage, you will suffer miserably. Being smart is only but a potential, turning it to cash is when it becomes a value. Money is the strongest measure of value in the real world. If people won't pay you for something, then you haven't made them think it is valuable. A doctor who hasn't understood the value of his knowledge and skills, how to communicate them and how to convert them to money will die poor. Trust me, japa will not save you.

May I never get so used to God’s goodness that I stop being grateful for the little things — the things that may seem so ordinary to others, but are still blessings from Him.

In a weird way, everybody is rooting for you. When you go to a job interview, the interviewer wants you to be amazing so they don’t have to look anymore. when you go on a date, the person wants to have an amazing date with you. If you make a piece of content, people want to see amazing pieces of content and they have no problem if it’s yours. the instant you get into the mindset that people want you to do well, your entire world gets better. And you’ll be shocked to know this pattern keeps repeating in different areas of life.
Hit me with the harshest reality truth.

The moment I saw this costume, my mind just pictured 5 young boys holding cane around the masquerade, threatening young passersby for money or get whipped. Ikotun too traumatize me😭😭😂😂

This "pregnancy is not a death sentence" debate exposes one critical flaw that most women have, which is: personalising a generic fact, even for a trivial issue. For example, if you say, "most women are shorter than men," without fail, you'll have a ton of women saying, "I know a girl in my family that is taller than men." Sis, that is not the point. The point is, whether you know 4 girls in your family that are taller than men or not, on the average, most men are taller than women. If you bring it to this pregnancy argument, I notice that, especially for women who haven't birthed a child yet, they personalise the stories of those who have encountered complications in child birth and are prone to agree with the take of "pregnancy is a death sentence." The general statistic is irrelevant to a woman, either educated or not. They deal promordially on anecdotal evidence and that wiring skews objective evidence. The average global child mortality rate is 200 per 100,000 pregnant women that generate complications. Or a 0.1% mortality rate. This means that 99.9% of women that go through the path of pregnancy are delivered of successfully, globally. 99.9% is almost 100%. Should we commiserate with those who get complications during child birth? Yes. But should we drop in mindless conclusive talks on the death sentence of a natural process? No. Pregnancy is NOT a death sentence.

Hi @DONJAZZY, you've helped so many young Nigerians achieve their dreams, and I'm hoping this reaches you. I'm a Nigerian doctor months from finishing my MPH at NYU. I'm crowdfunding my tuition, and without $25K by Dec 14, I risk being disenrolled and losing my visa status.
Hi everyone, I’m Marvellous, some of you know me as Ini. I’m a few months from finishing my MPH at NYU. I planned for this year with a student loan and a summer internship but it didn’t come through. Then this month, MPOWER shut down. I was on their waitlist. #FundDrMarvellous

We really are poor people, and it’s not even about money We are poor in conscience. Poor in morals. Poor in honor. The country cannot change if the masses don’t change. Period!
